She leaned back and had a big smile on her face as she enjoyed the great outdoors with her husband, Ross Burningham<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cGrateful for all that had to happen for me to get to here,\u201d Lake continued. \u201cA place of complete self-acceptance and self-love. \u2026 #nature #redwoods #love #gratitude #groundedeuphoria #selflove.\u201d<\/p>\n The New York native<\/a> gave her partner a shout-out, noting that Burningham<\/a>, 54, makes \u201cevery adventure the most fun ever.\u201d She also revealed that Mill Valley \u201cis the s\u2014t.\u201d<\/p>\n Lake\u2019s friends and followers were quick to show her support, including Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/strong><\/a>, who wrote in the comments section, \u201cI can\u2019t explain how much I adore u \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n Actress Rachael Harris<\/strong><\/a> agreed with Lake\u2019s outlook on self-acceptance, replying, \u201cYou just keep getting better and better lady\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f.\u201d<\/p>\n The Ricki Lake Show<\/em> alum has a history of being vulnerable with her fans<\/a>, including earlier this year when she recalled the \u201cbrave ass leap\u201d she took in 2019 to shave her head. In the January Instagram video<\/a>, Lake told her followers that three years prior she \u201cchose to make the drastic decision to shave my head after years and years of struggling in secret w\/ my androgenic hair loss.\u201d<\/p>\n The Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> alum explained: \u201cI have never shared this raw video footage before but felt like I wanted to now, for those of you who have followed my story and have been invested in it. Some of you know my struggle all too well personally and I want you to know, I truly feel you.\u201d<\/p>\n The Cry-Baby<\/em> actress noted that the emotional clip showed her coming to a place of \u201cpeace, liberation, and most importantly, self-love and self-acceptance\u201d after struggling for years over her appearance.<\/p>\n She concluded that she now has a better appreciation and \u201clove\u201d for her \u201cnatural gray and sometimes wild unruly head of hair.\u201d<\/p>\n The Charm School<\/em> executive producer previously opened up exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em> about her hair journey<\/a> after going public in 2020 with her struggles. \u201cI have been struggling with hair loss for most of my adult life. It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things,\u201d she said in February 2021. \u201cThere have been a few times where I have even felt suicidal over it.\u201d<\/p>\n
