\t\t<\/p>\n After weathering a tough 2025, Denise Richards<\/strong><\/a> is hopeful for a better 2026.<\/p>\n The 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/strong><\/a><\/em> star shared a vulnerable post on Instagram<\/a> on Thursday (January 1) to bring in the New Year by reflecting on what she says was \u201cone of the most painful years I\u2019ve lived.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLooking back at all the photos & videos I have of 2025, it feels like I\u2019m looking at two different people & lived two different lives,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n Denise<\/strong> said that it was \u201cthe year of the snake \ud83d\udc0d,\u201d and joked it was \u201ca year of shedding, literally,\u201d and tagged facial plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei<\/strong>\u2014she clarified that \u201cmore on that\u201d would come later with some pics and videos.<\/p>\n \u201cAs painful as it is, I\u2019m so grateful for the clarity. I shed alot of tears and felt pain & betrayal I never knew existed,\u201d Denise<\/strong> continued. \u201cI couldn\u2019t have gotten through this year if it weren\u2019t for my family, old & new friends, this community, those of you I work with.\u201d <\/p>\n The Wild Things<\/em> actress is likely referring to the ongoing divorce battle with her ex, Aaron Phypers<\/strong><\/a>. He filed for divorce in July 2025 after six years of marriage.<\/p>\n Weeks later, Denise<\/strong> requested a restraining order against him, alleging that he had physically abused her throughout their marriage<\/a>. In November, she was granted a five-year restraining order<\/a>.<\/p>\n In her Instagram post, the reality TV star also said she felt very thankful and humbled for the chance to meet fans at BravoCon this year.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so grateful to all of you. I did have a lot of blessed happy moments in 2025 & especially the last couple months, I\u2019m finally starting to feel like me again, only better. I\u2019m looking forward to the year of the Horse. I feel very lucky that it starts on my birthday,\u201d she concluded her caption.<\/p>\n Most recently, Denise<\/strong> starred in a one-season reality show called Denise Richards & Her Wild Things<\/em>.
