Shawn Booth<\/strong><\/a> got real about his biggest pet peeve \u2014 and his ex-fianc\u00e9e Kaitlyn Bristowe<\/strong><\/a> remembers it all too well.<\/p>\n

\u201cEasily one of my biggest pet peeves is when you stop your car for somebody to let them cross the street, and they don\u2019t wave,\u201d Booth, 38, shared via TikTok<\/a> on Tuesday, December 30. \u201cCome on, all you gotta do is say, \u2018Thank you. Appreciate it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> winner explained that if those kind words are uttered, he would simply respond, \u201c\u2018Alright, you\u2019re welcome.\u2019 Then we go on with our days.\u201d<\/p>\n

Booth then asked, \u201cIs it that hard to say thank you?\u201d<\/p>\n

As fans sounded off in the comments section, Booth\u2019s ex Bristowe<\/a>, 40, chimed in on the topic as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually remember this FIRING you up,\u201d she wrote back, giving a little insight into their past relationship.<\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s been 10 years since Bristowe and Booth\u2019s love story<\/a> played out on season 11 of The Bachelorette,<\/em> some fans are still intrigued by their relationship, split and current dynamic.<\/p>\n

Fans were introduced to Booth on The Bachelorette<\/em> in 2015 where he fought for Bristowe\u2019s final rose. (Bristowe, meanwhile, appeared on The Bachelor<\/em> during season 19 before becoming the lead of the spinoff.)<\/p>\n

After making it to the finals with Nick Viall<\/strong>, Bristowe ultimately picked Booth and he subsequently proposed during the finale.<\/p>\n

Following the show, Bristowe and Booth moved to Nashville together but weren\u2019t in any rush to walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe came off the show and into our engagement and have really just been taking things stride by stride,\u201d Booth exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in May 2018. \u201cWe have our own stride with how we want to take our relationship from the show out into the real world and it really has been an adjustment. But we\u2019ve always been on the same page. We click like that. We\u2019ve been normal and want to keep that normalcy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Six months later, the pair confirmed that they called off their engagement and had parted ways.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBachelor Nation\u2019s Kaitlyn Bristowe is reflecting on her past romances with ex-fianc\u00e9s Shawn Booth and Jason Tartick. \u201cI was with him for three and a half years,\u201d Bristowe, 40, explained of Booth, 38, during the Saturday, November 22, episode of Bobby Bones\u2019 \u201cBobbycast\u201d podcast. \u201cIn the contract for the Bachelorette, if you stay together longer [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAfter three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration,\u201d Bristowe and Booth<\/a> said in a November 2018 joint statement. \u201cEven though we are parting as a couple, we\u2019re very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways. Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Bristowe moved on with Bachelor Nation\u2019s Jason Tartick<\/strong> \u2014 whom she dated from 2019 to 2023<\/a> \u2014 she didn\u2019t shy away from slowly peeling back the curtain on what happened between her and Booth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During an April 2025 episode of her \u201cOff the Vine\u201d podcast<\/a>, Bristowe revealed she felt like Booth was \u201changing on to the relationship to open his gym\u201d in Tennessee before calling things off.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt used. I did not feel loved. I felt like he knew that us together was better than him on his own,\u201d she shared. \u201cI\u2019m saying this from my standpoint, I\u2019m not saying he actually did this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Booth, who shares son Locks, 2<\/a>, with girlfriend Audrey \u201cDre\u201d Joseph<\/strong>, has also given insight into his and Bristowe\u2019s failed relationship over the years.<\/p>\n
