Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> has a heart-to-heart with wife Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a> on the latest episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>, confessing he might\u2019ve neglected her amid his three failed marriages.<\/p>\n \u201cI need to stop with the self deprecation. Regarding you and me,\u201d Kody, 56, tells Robyn, 47, in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive sneak peek of the Sunday, January 4, episode after finishing his ex-wives apology tour.<\/p>\n \u201cThe only thing that I\u2019ve kind of pulled away from is when you\u2019re emotionally unsafe,\u201d Robyn responds, seemingly on board with Kody\u2019s new approach to their marriage. \u201cThat\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n Kody notes that \u201csome of the things I\u2019ve done recently may help\u201d him being more present with Robyn, referring to his meetings with exes Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a>, Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> following their respective splits.<\/p>\n After taking a pause, Kody turns to Robyn and really sees her. \u201cThanks for being loyal,\u201d he says in an emotional moment between the couple.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, you deserve it. You\u2019ve earned it from me, honey. I\u2019m right here,\u201d Robyn reassures her spouse<\/a>, whom she legally wed in 2014 after spiritually tying the knot<\/a> four years prior.<\/p>\n Kody acknowledges that Robyn has always had his back, realizing almost in that moment that he never told her how much that meant while he was struggling with his breakups.<\/p>\n \u201cIt hasn\u2019t been very fair. I haven\u2019t been very fair with you<\/a>,\u201d he confesses. \u201cI\u2019ve been apologizing to everybody. In spite of all how brutal they were. I was apologizing to them.\u201d<\/p>\n Kody admits, \u201cBut you were never brutal. You\u2019re never unkind. You\u2019re never disloyal. I\u2019ve been apologizing to everybody. I think I owe you an apology most of all.\u201d<\/p>\n As Robyn takes in Kody\u2019s heartfelt apology, he continues to process his recent actions in a confessional interview.<\/p>\n \u201cHoly cow, I\u2019ve apologized to everybody but you,\u201d he tells the cameras of Robyn, calling her \u201cthe woman who has been so supportive through all of my BS, all of my weakness, all of my anger, all of my ranting and raving and complaining.\u201d<\/p>\n As Sister Wives<\/em> fans have learned in recent years, Kody\u2019s plural family began falling apart one wife at a time<\/a> starting in 2021.<\/p>\n His third wife, Christine, 53, announced in November 2021 that she and Kody had called it quits after more than 25 years together. Her choice to leave him and the greater polygamist family started a ripple effect.<\/p>\n His second wife Janelle, 56, followed suit, announcing her separation from Kody in December 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage.<\/p>\n Kody\u2019s first wife, Meri \u2014 whom he was legally married to from 1990 to 2014 and then remained spiritually married to for nearly another decade \u2014 confirmed in January 2023 that she and Kody had also parted ways.<\/p>\n With each split, Kody grew a little more distant with his remaining wife Robyn, but she remained committed to him and their life \u2014 even if it was now a monogamous one<\/a>.<\/p>\n
