Cynthia Erivo enjoyed huge success in 2025<\/p>\n
The 38-year-old actress has enjoyed huge success this year, starring in Wicked: For Good and releasing her best-selling memoir, Simply More: A Book for Anyone Who Has Been Told They\u2019re Too Much – but Cynthia hasn’t written down specific ambitions for 2026.<\/p>\n
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “My mind has been blown several times.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo this point, I still haven\u2019t even dared to write the list [for 2026] because at this point, I\u2019m sort of like, \u2018What have you got?\u2019”<\/p>\n
Despite this, Cynthia does have one specific ambition for next year.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I managed to sneak a week off to go and do Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019ve always had to do one day or two days in that rush off and go do something, but this year I asked to have the full week off to go and be in Paris. That is what I want to do, so that\u2019s what I\u2019m going to do.”<\/p>\n
\nCynthia recently revealed that she “made a pact” with Ariana Grande before shooting the Wicked movies.<\/p>\n
\nIn her book, entitled Simply More: A Book for Anyone Who Has Been Told They\u2019re Too Much, Cynthia explained: “Before Wicked really started rolling, Ariana and I made a pact with each other.<\/p>\n
\n“We committed to protecting and caring for each other through this process. We hear often how female costars \u2014\u00ad or really, any costars \u2014\u00ad can sometimes let their egos get in the way until they battle each other, destroying the creative process for everyone involved. We were determined to do the opposite.”<\/p>\n
\nCynthia believes she shares a “strong synergy” with her co-star, who has become a close friend in recent years.<\/p>\n
\nThe London-born actress – who also stars alongside Jonathan Bailey in the money-spinning movie franchise – said: ‘We were always looking out for each other. Our partnership was important. We shared a strong synergy, a commitment to authenticity, and that, combined with the natural connection we fostered both on and off set, allowed us to support each other emotionally and professionally.”<\/p>\n
