Brady Kiser<\/strong>, following the heartbreaking death of their eldest son, Trigg.<\/p>\nThe couple, who also share 9-month-old son Teddy, spent Christmas with Emilie\u2019s family, a moment she shared with fans on TikTok. One follower asked, \u201cHow does your family deal with your husband? Are they polite? Are they angry? What are their feelings? They probably don\u2019t even show their feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n
Emilie responded honestly: \u201cMy entire family loves him so much. If anything their unwavering love for him and Trigg, is something that has helped us so much to come together as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trigg tragically passed away in May after he was found unconscious in the family\u2019s Arizona home pool. Authorities initially submitted a criminal charge recommendation for Brady, who was home with both sons at the time, but no charges were ever filed.<\/p>\n
A statement from the Maricopa County Attorney\u2019s Office confirmed there was \u201cno likelihood of conviction.\u201d In July, Brady\u2019s attorney publicly thanked officials for conducting a thorough investigation and called the case \u201ca tragic accident.\u201d<\/p>\n
After taking a lengthy social media hiatus, Emilie broke her silence in August, opening up about the devastating loss.<\/p>\n
\u201cLoss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words,\u201d she wrote via Instagram. \u201cI\u2019ve spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I\u2019ve needed to digest the loss of my baby.\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to honor Trigg\u2019s memory: \u201cTrigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly.\u201d<\/p>\n
Emilie also reflected on safety lessons she hopes other families can take away: \u201cI take full accountability as Trigg\u2019s mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him. One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it\u2019s something I will never overlook again.
