Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> revealed that he and Howie Mandel<\/strong><\/a> have exchanged messages since the latter\u2019s bombshell Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a> interview \u2014 and everything is copacetic again.<\/p>\n \u201cGuess who DMed me?\u201d the Bravo exec, 55, teased during the Monday, June 5, of his radio show Andy Cohen Live<\/em><\/a> on SiriusXM. \u201cSomeone that I was in a feud with.\u201d<\/p>\n When his cohost and friend John Hill<\/strong> failed to correctly guess, Cohen revealed that the comedian, 67, recently reached out to him via social media. \u201cHowie Mandel DM\u2019d me over the break,\u201d the Superficial<\/em> author recalled. \u201cHe DM\u2019d me and said, \u2018You\u2019re making amazing TV. I was honored to be your jackhole.\u2019 I loved that and I DM\u2019d him back and I said, \u2018Howie, being in a feud with you \u2014 feud in quotes \u2014 was my honor,\u2019 with a bunch of hearts. So, I feel like Howie and I, we\u2019re back.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this year, the former Deal or No Deal<\/a><\/em> host invited Sandoval, 40, on his podcast<\/a> to discuss the aftermath of the reality star\u2019s affair with Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a>, which led to his split from longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>. Many Bravo fans were surprised by Sandoval\u2019s choice of outlet, especially after Mandel admitted that he didn\u2019t know much about Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a>. After the podcast debuted, Cohen called out the America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em><\/a> judge for not doing more prep.<\/p>\n \u201cTonight\u2019s Jackhole [of the Day] goes to the fact that Howie Mandel apparently didn\u2019t know what he was getting himself into with his interview of Tom Sandoval today,\u201d the producer said during an April episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em>. \u201cBecause it seems like maybe he didn\u2019t do his homework<\/a>?\u201d<\/p>\n In response, Mandel told Extra<\/em> that he didn\u2019t \u201cneed to do homework\u201d<\/a> because he knew who Sandoval was. \u201cI wasn\u2019t gonna weaponize his information and kind of, you know, challenge him on each thing,\u201d the Canada native added.<\/p>\n Mandel\u2019s disinclination to push back on Sandoval\u2019s comments led to some criticism of the interview, but the Monk<\/em> alum said last month he doesn\u2019t regret his approach<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI would not do anything differently,\u201d Mandel said during a May interview on Nick Viall<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d podcast before explaining the backstory of Sandoval\u2019s sit-down. \u201cAs people have found out, one of the people who works for me is married to his road manager. \u2026 I [was] not going to put him in an uncomfortable position. I told him, \u2018You want to speak, come on and talk.\u2019 My point is \u2014 and the reason I wanted to [have him on the show] \u2014 that I still don\u2019t understand [the outrage around Scandoval].\u201d<\/p>\n During the interview, the Pump Rules<\/em> star claimed that he tried to break up<\/a> with Madix, 37, multiple times before she found out about his affair with their costar Leviss, 28. \u201cObviously, she was very upset. She freaking punched me and all this s\u2013t,\u201d Sandoval alleged, claiming that his Fancy AF Cocktails<\/em> coauthor refused to accept the split. \u201cA couple days later, I sit down and talk with her again, and she\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m not letting you leave me. You\u2019re gonna have to force me out of this relationship.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Ariana, I don\u2019t think I could be faithful in a relationship with you right now.\u2019 I hadn\u2019t told her about Raquel yet. She\u2019s like, \u2018If you break up with me, you will effectively be ending my life.’\u201d<\/p>\n Madix, however, denied this version of events during the Pump Rules<\/em> season 10 reunion last month, claiming that her ex-boyfriend actually didn\u2019t try to call it quits before his affair with Leviss was revealed.
