Lindsay Lohan cannot help but get emotional when people are nice to her<\/p>\n
As the 39-year-old actress’ astrological sign is cancer, she is a naturally “very sensitive”, protective and home-loving person.<\/p>\n
During a conversation at The Wellness Oasis at Art Basel\u2019s Reserve Miami Seaplane on December 2, Lindsay shared: “When I get the most sensitive and feel the most emotional, is when people are nice to me.”<\/p>\n
Tearing up, she added: “Which is wild. I notice as I get older, when people are kind to me, or I\u2019m doing an interview, and someone says something nice, I\u2019m like, ‘Oh my God, I\u2019m going to cry, thank you.’<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m a Cancer. I\u2019m very sensitive.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Freakier Friday star – who, at the event, spoke to a crowd about how she deals with the likes of balance and self-care – also noted that “being truly seen for who you are” makes her emotional.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, having downtime keeps Lindsay grounded.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “It\u2019s important to always take a moment because everything is moving so fast all the time. You are your own vessel – if you don\u2019t nurture yourself, anything can distract you in a second.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Parent Trap performer and her 38-year-old husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed their son, Luai, two, into the world in 2023.<\/p>\n
\nSince then, Lindsay has savoured “every single moment” of being a mom, adding: “Just knowing you can share your life with another person”.<\/p>\n
\nThe Hollywood actress says it is vital to be present in a child’s life.<\/p>\n
\nLindsay disagrees with people who believe in holding onto their children’s youth “because it\u2019s going to fly by \u2026 because you cherish every moment in your own way, you\u2019re trying your best not to miss a moment with your children, you don\u2019t want to ever think that\u2019s possible”.<\/p>\n
\nShe continued: “But if you\u2019re present in the moments you spend with them, you really don\u2019t miss anything.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd it is the Count My Lies cast member’s family that motivates her in life.<\/p>\n
\nLindsay – who is the eldest child of TV personalities Dina Lohan, 63, and Michael Lohan, 65, and has three younger siblings, actor Michael Lohan Jr., 38, singer Aliana Lohan, 32, and 29-year-old actor Dakota Lohan – said: “Every day my purpose is to be a great mom, be a great wife, be a great daughter, be a great sister.”<\/p>\n
\nThe star – who also has a 30-year-old half-sister called Ashley Kaufmann, the daughter of Michael Sr. and his ex-girlfriend, Kristi Kaufmann – added: “And I want to be a good role model too.”<\/p>\n
