I hope by the time people get to the end of the finale that it just feels like there\u2019s something inevitable about what happens,\u201d he added, which does sound ominous regarding Kali\/Eleven.<\/p>\n Steve\u2019s death in the finale currently seems unlikely, though Matt<\/strong> didn\u2019t exactly offer reassurance, saying: \u201cBut as for Steve\u2019s fate. I don\u2019t know. I can\u2019t say. It would be the next logical step. He keeps getting beaten up more and more.
