Hallmark has a slew of leading men, but in 2025, Tyler Hynes<\/strong><\/a>, Andrew Walker<\/strong><\/a> and Paul Campbell<\/strong><\/a> cemented themselves as the kings of the network<\/a> \u2014 and Us can prove it.<\/p>\n

Walker is a Hallmark legend<\/a> \u2014 and old-timer at this point \u2014 having made his debut in 2012\u2019s A Bride for Christmas<\/em>. Campbell isn\u2019t far behind, joining the Hallmark family in 2013 with Window Wonderland<\/em>. (He produced his first film for the network in 2017 and added writer to his resume in 2020.)<\/p>\n

Hynes is the newbie of the bunch, making his debut in 2018\u2019s Falling for You<\/em>, but he\u2019s quickly made up for the missing years by starring in more than 20 films for Hallmark between 2018 and 2025.<\/p>\n

The trio upped their star status in 2022 by teaming up for the first of three Three Wise Men<\/em> movies<\/a>, the last of which premiered this year. Campbell exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in November that while it felt \u201cepic\u201d and \u201cdaunting\u201d to write three successful features with Kimberley Sustad<\/strong>, he couldn\u2019t be happier with the outcome.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly got an exclusive inside look at the filming of Three Wiser Men and a Boy, which premieres on Saturday, November 23. The [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re in this life, and you can make good things with good people, you\u2019ve done it. And in this case, I think we\u2019ve done it,\u201d he gushed.<\/p>\n

Walker couldn\u2019t agree more, exclusively telling Us<\/em><\/a> later that month, \u201cI want to keep working with this group forever.\u201d He teased that is the \u201cgoal,\u201d as the actors are working on a \u201ccompletely different adventure that we go on together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Throughout their time on Hallmark, each actor has left his mark on the rom-com genre and won over the hearts of fans through comedy, their ability to evolve on camera, and of course, their charm.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be serious: Walker, Campbell and Hynes have been showcasing their talent<\/a> since their first films hit Hallmark Channel more than a decade ago \u2014 which is exactly why fans went wild seeing them paired up in 2022\u2019s Three Wise Men and a Baby<\/em>. But as the years have passed, the magic they bring to their films \u2014 together and individually \u2014 continues to grow, delivering dynamic performances that range from heartfelt to heartbreaking to hilarious.<\/p>\n

All three actors made every second of their screen time count this year, with Walker even stealing the show during his brief cameo in Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story<\/em>. He may have only played a bartender in one scene, but we\u2019re still thinking about it. (He then went on to star in She\u2019s Making a List<\/em> and An Unexpected Valentine<\/em>, where he grabbed our attention just as easily.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTyler Hynes and Andrew Walker have been friends for two decades \u2014 and Hallmark Channel fans have taken notice. \u201cWe talk weekly,\u201d Walker exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2023 of Hynes, who is his wife Cassandra Troy\u2019s cousin. \u201cI\u2019ve known the guy for 19 years since he started coming to her house for Christmases [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hynes, meanwhile, was the main love interest in Christmas Above the Clouds<\/em>. The majority of the movie focused on Erin Krakow<\/strong>\u2018s run-ins with her character Ella Neezer\u2019s three Christmas ghosts, but still, every scene with Hynes had Us hooked. Then again, one of Hynes\u2019 strengths is ability to shine even while letting others take the spotlight in an ensemble, proven by this year\u2019s Groomsmen<\/em> (which finally aired on Hallmark Channel) and Three Wisest Men<\/em>, and 2023\u2019s Never Been Chris\u2019d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Campbell, on the other hand, didn\u2019t rest on his laurels in 2025 either, cowriting the final Three Wise Men<\/em> trilogy film with Sustad before acting in the film as Stephan, where he made trying to impress your future-in-law seem fun while also delivering an authentic portrayal of what it looks like to live with anxiety. He then switched gears for Christmas at Catnip Cafe<\/em>, playing a tall, dark and handsome veterinarian hell-bent on saving the animals of his small town. Can you say, swoon?<\/p>\n

They Started to Switch Up Their Leading Ladies But Haven\u2019t Forgotten Fan-Favorites<\/h2>\n

During 2025, Campbell starred alongside new scene partner Cahill and Three Wise Men<\/em> love interest Fiona Vroom<\/strong>. Hynes, meanwhile, played opposite of Three Wisest Men<\/em> counterpart Erin Karpluk<\/strong> and Krakow, the latter of which was a highly-anticipated reunion from the pair\u2019s days on 2021\u2019s It Was Always You<\/em><\/a>. (Hynes also made a brief cameo with Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story<\/em> costars Hunter King<\/strong> in Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story<\/em>, a moment fans were excited to see.)<\/p>\n

Walker worked with past costars Nicole Major<\/strong> and Lacey Chabert<\/strong> and new collaborators Emilie de Ravin<\/strong> and Rachel Boston<\/strong> and if he has it his way, he will continue to share the screen with his friends and viewers\u2019 favorites, old and new.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love working with new girls. There\u2019s so many talented girls that I want to do movies with,\u201d Walker exclusively told Us<\/em> in November. \u201cI mean, honestly, I would love to work with Kimberley [Sustad]. I have yet to do a movie with Kimberly and Erin Cahill and I have talked about doing a movie together.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cObviously, Nikki [DeLoach]<\/strong><\/a> and I want to reunite for some more Curious Caterers Mysteries<\/em>,\u201d before confirming that Sustad is \u201creally high up\u201d on his dream costar list at the moment.<\/p>\n

Lucky for Us, Hallmark often listens to Walker, Campbell and Hynes\u2019 requests \u2014 so it\u2019s only a matter of time until viewers see a Walker and Sustad collab. Seeing Sustad with Hynes would also be fun as she has already worked with Campbell several times in front and behind the camera. So, here\u2019s to hoping!<\/p>\n

Hallmark is known for its wholesome, family-friendly content \u2014 and no one would ever want to change that. But in the past few years, the network has been lauded for its more progressive and diverse storytelling<\/a>, shining a light on a more universal life experience. That\u2019s in part thanks to people like Walker, Campbell and Hynes, who are dedicated to making movies that feel authentic for all.<\/p>\n

Campbell, for his part, cowrote all of the Three Wise Men<\/em> films \u2014 starring himself, Hynes and Walker \u2014 as well as films like An Unexpected Christmas<\/em> and Christmas by Starlight<\/em>. Speaking to Us<\/em> exclusively<\/a> earlier this year, the actor explained that he\u2019s cognizant of taking off the \u201cgloss\u201d and \u201cpolish\u201d off his scripts in hopes of showcasing \u201cmessier,\u201d more \u201cimperfect\u201d and relatable stories.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHallmark Channel is the home of holiday cheer thanks to its annual \u201cCountdown to Christmas\u201d programming \u2014 which just keeps getting bigger and better. Every year, fans are treated to a slew of feel-good holiday movies starring Lacey Chabert, Andrew Walker and more beloved actors. While the stories showcased are different, there are a lot [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The latest Three Wise Men<\/em> film is a great example: Hynes\u2019 character, Taylor, grapples over the decision of staying put or moving to San Francisco with his girlfriend, Caroline (Karplunk). While not momentum to some, a discussion of living with a romantic partner out of wedlock is a plot point that wouldn\u2019t have shown up on Hallmark in years past. \u201cWe really try to humanize these characters,\u201d Campbell told Us<\/em>. \u201cAnd not everybody waits until they\u2019re married to move in, that\u2019s not accurate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Campbell added that to the network\u2019s credit, Hallmark \u2014 who has been continuously applauded for its progress in diversity and inclusion over the past few years \u2014 was \u201creally good\u201d about letting the Three Wise Men<\/em> franchise \u201cpush the envelope of what maybe they\u2019ve been comfortable with historically, or what their audience is comfortable with sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve Expanded Their Catalogs Again and Again<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019ve been keeping track, Hallmark is no longer just the home of warm and fuzzy holiday films \u2014 although that is still their bread and butter. The network has expanded their feel-good film catalog to include rom-coms for every season in addition to making hit mystery movie franchises and Walker, Campbell and Hynes have been there every step of the way.<\/p>\n

Both Walker and Campbell got their feet wet as the lead in a holiday film for Hallmark, which some actors wait years to accomplish. Hynes, meanwhile, began his time with the network in a fall-themed feature. They have since grown as actors and challenged themselves with a variety of topics, genres and even franchises.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Three Wise Men<\/em> trilogy<\/a> \u2014 which combines comedy, Christmas and sibling shenanigans \u2014 the actors have each anchored their own film franchise.<\/p>\n

Walker teamed up with DeLoach in 2022 for their first Hallmark Mystery movie, Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate<\/em><\/a>. They have since costarred in four more detective films, with DeLoach playing an amateur sleuth and caterer named Goldy Berry and Walker portraying the local detective and her love interest, Tom Schultz. The pair have also appeared in several non-mystery movies together, including 2016\u2019s A Dream of Christmas<\/em> and 2020\u2019s Sweet Autumn<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Campbell also added a mystery franchise to his Hallmark resume in 2023 with The Cases of Mystery Lane<\/em>. In the films \u2014 the second of which premiered in 2024 \u2014 Campbell plays Alden Case, who stumbles upon a real-life murder while trying to become a private investigator. When he turns to his wife, Birdie (Aimee Garcia<\/strong>) to help solve it, their love life reaps the rewards.<\/p>\n

Hynes, meanwhile, has yet to make the jump to mysteries, but he teamed up with Jonathan Bennett<\/strong> and B.J. Britt<\/strong> in 2024 for The Groomsmen<\/em><\/a> trilogy. Each of the three movies focuses on a different man\u2019s love story as the others support him before walking down the aisle. They initially premiered on Hallmark+ before becoming hits on Hallmark Channel over the summer.<\/p>\n

When the trio aren\u2019t in front of the camera, they are working with Hallmark behind it \u2014 once again proving they are the kings of rom-coms.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Walker was an executive producer on his first two Hallmark films, The Reluctant Royal<\/em> and Three Wisest Men<\/em>. Campbell, meanwhile, has written seven movies for Hallmark as of 2025 and has three producing credits for the network.<\/p>\n

Hynes produced a few shorts and music videos before bringing his talents to Hallmark with the 2024 Groomsmen<\/em> trilogy. He also served as an executive producer on Three Wisest Men<\/em> with Walker and Campbell. How these men have time for anything but Hallmark is beyond Us!<\/p>\n

The Network Loves Them \u2014 And the Feeling Is Mutual<\/h2>\n

Both Campbell and Walker have been part of the Hallmark family for more than a decade. Hynes, meanwhile, will celebrate his 10-year anniversary in 2028, so it\u2019s clear the network has a soft spot for all three actors.<\/p>\n

Throughout their respective tenures with Hallmark they\u2019ve starred in more than 75 movies combined \u2014 all of which fans have gobbled up. Campbell, Hynes and Walker, meanwhile, have expressed immense gratitude to Hallmark for championing them and the stories they continue to tell on screen.<\/p>\n

The romantic comedy follows Krakow\u2019s Elizabeth as her engagement plans are thrown into disarray when her fianc\u00e9\u2019s brother, David, played by Hynes, returns home from traveling the world while teaching underprivileged children. His unexpected [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cVery simply [it] is just the individuals, the individuals that are part of the camp as far as executives and directors and producers and actors,\u201d Hynes exclusively told Us<\/em> in March 2023 about why he loves working for the network. \u201cEverybody is absolutely lovely. And it seems like comparatively perhaps to other places, I think it\u2019s as close as you can come to feeling like a family that is supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n
