\t\t<\/p>\n The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants<\/strong><\/a><\/em> cast almost looked very different!<\/p>\n Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>, America Ferrera<\/strong><\/a>, Alexis Bledel<\/strong><\/a> and Amber Tamblyn<\/strong><\/a> played best friends united by a pair of pants that followed them on huge adventures in two movies starting back in 2005. <\/p>\n The women are still supporting each other in 2024. In fact, America<\/strong>, Amber <\/strong>and Alexis<\/strong> recently issued a statement<\/a> in support of Blake<\/strong> amid her lawsuit<\/a> against Justin Baldoni<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n They are part of what made the franchise as successful as it is, but we\u2019ve learned that several other big actresses were in the running for the roles. <\/p>\n Producer Debra Martin Chase<\/strong> named six stars who were could have played Carmen, Tibby, Lena and Bridget during an appearance on the Hollywood Gold<\/a><\/em> podcast. <\/p>\n The shortlist included one actress who was famous for her role on The O.C. <\/em>and several other young actresses who have gone far in Hollywood.
