\t\t<\/p>\n Chevy Chase<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t happy about being excluded from the Saturday Night Live<\/strong><\/a><\/em> 50th anniversary special.<\/p>\n He talks about not being part of SNL50<\/em> in his upcoming CNN Films\u2019 documentary I\u2019m Chevy Chase and You\u2019re Not<\/em>, per Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n Chevy<\/strong> says he was \u201churt\u201d at not being invited.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWell, it was kind of upsetting actually,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is probably the first time I\u2019m saying it. But I expected that I would\u2019ve been on the stage too with all the other actors. When Garrett<\/strong> [Morris<\/strong>] and Laraine<\/strong> [Newman<\/strong>] went on the stage there, I was curious as to why I didn\u2019t. No one asked me to. Why was I left aside?\u201d<\/p>\n He also pointed out that Bill Murray<\/strong><\/a> was part of the \u201cWeekend Update\u201d segment, but he wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n The Caddyshack<\/em> star was one of the original SNL cast members and the first-ever \u201cWeekend Update\u201d anchor.<\/p>\n He mentions bringing it up in a text to SNL<\/em> creator Lorne Michaels<\/strong><\/a> in a text. \u201cI said, \u2018Okay, I take it back, silly.\u2019 But it\u2019s not that silly. Somebody\u2019s made a bad mistake there. I don\u2019t know who it was, but somebody made a mistake. They should\u2019ve had me on that stage.
