Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> doesn\u2019t appear in the last two episodes of Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s Eras Tour<\/em> docuseries, but he still found a way to sneak in some praise for his partner<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the final installment of Taylor Swift: The End of an Era<\/em>, Swift, 36, reads a card from her then-boyfriend, also 36, that was attached to flowers he sent her ahead of her final Eras shows in December 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cSo many unbelievable memories on this tour, but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time, being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn\u2019t even know me,\u201d Swift reads from the note. \u201cI selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to [tour manager] Robert [Allen]<\/strong> for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri. That night too in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift then paused for a few seconds before joking, \u201cSo much for no emotions on the last three shows, huh?\u201d<\/p>\n Kelce famously went to Swift\u2019s Kansas City concert in July 2023 and later complained on his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast that he didn\u2019t get to meet the Grammy winner.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I was disappointed that she doesn\u2019t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,\u201d Travis recalled at the time while speaking to his brother and cohost, Jason Kelce<\/strong>. \u201cSo, I was a little butthurt I didn\u2019t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis went on to reveal that he put his number on the bracelet. When Jason, 38, asked whether he meant his jersey number, 87, or his phone number, Travis replied, \u201cYou know which [number].\u201d<\/p>\n While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end didn\u2019t get to meet Swift that night, they started dating soon after<\/a> \u2014 which the world discovered when she attended her first Chiefs game in September 2023. She later clarified that they had already been seeing each for a while at that point, having met right after his podcast comments.<\/p>\n \u201cWe started hanging out right after that,\u201d she told TIME<\/em> magazine in December 2023. \u201cSo, we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I\u2019m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.\u201d<\/p>\n In an earlier episode<\/a> of The End of an Era<\/em>, Taylor\u2019s mom, Andrea Swift<\/strong>, revealed that she played a role in convincing<\/a> her daughter to meet Travis.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m looking at the headlines and perusing around what\u2019s on the internet, and I see that this guy came to your show and he brought a friendship bracelet and wants to meet you,\u201d Andrea, 67, recalled. \u201cAnd so, of course, I call up my resident expert on Kansas City Chiefs, my cousin Robin<\/strong>, and I go, \u2018Tell me about this guy named Travis Kelce.\u2019 And she goes, \u2018Oh, my God, he\u2019s the nicest guy. And you know what? He really loves his mom.\u2019 And I went, \u2018Ding, ding, ding, ding.\u2019 Then I said, \u2018Now, how in the world am I gonna get her to meet him or whatever?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
