\n\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\tKate Winslet and James Cameron are putting rumors that they once feuded to rest. \u201cThere was never a rift between us,\u201d Cameron, 69, told Variety for the outlet\u2019s Wednesday, June 12, profile on Winslet, 48. \u201cShe had a little postpartum depression when she let go of [her Titanic character] Rose. She and I have talked [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Instead of kissing Champion, Weaver said that the filmmakers \u201casked Jack to pick someone\u201d more age-appropriate whom she could kiss for the scene.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen I imagine when I wasn\u2019t there, they picked someone appropriate for Jack. That concern about all of that, which is quite legitimate, was going on,\u201d Weaver continued. \u201cAnd I\u2019m glad the scene survived, because when I saw it, I believed it. It\u2019s so genuine between the two of them and any concern about Jack\u2019s real age and my real age, I think there\u2019s no room for it there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Weaver first appeared in 2009\u2019s Avatar<\/em> as Dr. Grace Augustine, who created an avatar program to allow humans to become Na\u2019vi.
