\t\t<\/p>\n Jacob Tierney<\/strong><\/a> is giving an update on the time frame for Heated Rivalry<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season two! <\/p>\n The hit show\u2019s creator, writer and director is gearing up for the season finale this week, which was only finalized a few days ago, and understands the desire for the already announced season two. <\/p>\n However, in a new interview, he notes that fans will have to wait a bit longer for next season \u2013 if you didn\u2019t know, season one\u2019s premiere was actually originally supposed to debut in early 2026 but got moved up several times. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt can\u2019t be same time next year, because this time last year I\u2019d written five of these, and this time this year I\u2019ve written zero of them,\u201d Jacob<\/strong> tells Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cSo it\u2019s going to be a little bit later, but it\u2019s still going to be soon.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe understand that everybody\u2019s goal is to not do two years between seasons,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd at the same time, I don\u2019t want to put out a rushed shitty second season just because the show is very popular. But we\u2019re very aware that our creative partners are enthusiastic and don\u2019t want to wait too long. We\u2019re getting back to work!\u201d<\/p>\n The head of HBO, Casey Bloys<\/strong>, also addressed the possible involvement of them joining on the creative side for season two, given the show\u2019s success on HBO Max<\/strong><\/a>, something fans have been worried about. He confirms they will not be joining as a producer or co-financier, that they will stay out of it and are just happy to stream the show!<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re not going to be involved,\u201d Casey<\/strong> told Variety<\/em>. \u201cI think the last thing the show needs is people meddling in what works. So, I don\u2019t feel any need to weigh in. Clearly, they\u2019ve got a good sense of the show and what works.
