\t\t<\/p>\n George Clooney<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s older sister Adelia \u201cAda\u201d Zeidler<\/strong> has sadly passed away at the age of 65.<\/p>\n According to People<\/a><\/em>, Ada<\/strong> died from cancer on Friday (December 19). She died surrounded by her loved ones at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Ky.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n George<\/strong> has shared a statement with the outlet in tribute to his late sibling.<\/p>\n \u201cMy sister, Ada<\/strong>, was my hero. She faced down cancer with courage and humor. I\u2019ve never met anyone so brave. Amal<\/strong> and I will miss her terribly,\u201d he said, referencing his wife Amal Clooney<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Ada was named after her great-grandmother and her obituary states that she was a \u201ctalented artist\u201d and \u201cmember of the August Art Guild.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIn addition to her parents, she leaves behind her beloved children, Nick Zeidler<\/strong> and Allison Zeidler Herolaga<\/strong> and her husband, Kenny<\/strong>; her brother, George Clooney<\/strong> and his wife, Amal<\/strong>; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins,\u201d it reads.<\/p>\n A funeral will be held on December 22.<\/p>\n Our condolences to Ada<\/strong>\u2018s family.
