Sanchez breaks down his decade-long journey to\u00a0receiving\u00a0FDA clearance. Throughout the interview, Sanchez offers\u00a0tactical advice to anyone\u00a0in the midst of\u00a0a long regulatory process and explains how\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0kept his company afloat and his team motivated despite the uncertainties.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, Isabelle speaks with Tom Harries, the co-founder of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/earthfuneral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Earth Funeral<\/a>,\u00a0an\u00a0end-of-life\u00a0startup that has developed a new process that transforms human remains into soil. Harries\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0have to lead his team through a\u00a0long FDA\u00a0approval process\u00a0(because the FDA is primarily concerned with the living), but\u00a0his company has faced its\u00a0own legislative challenges. Earth Funeral launched\u00a0at a time when its alternative process was only legal in one state.
