\t\t<\/p>\n Anderson Cooper<\/strong><\/a> and Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> are preparing to ring in the new year together for the ninth year in a row!<\/p>\n Ahead of the New Year\u2019s 2026 festivities, the duo sat down for an interview with Parade<\/a><\/em>, where the 58-year-old CNN journalist revealed how he really<\/em> feels about the holiday.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI find New Year\u2019s Eve, especially in New York, to be just a dreadful evening,\u201d Anderson<\/strong> revealed. \u201cI think the best thing you can do is stay at home and watch stuff on television, because it\u2019s just you can\u2019t get an Uber and people are drunk. And it\u2019s often raining and cold. I always wanted to just ignore it and escape it.\u201d<\/p>\n Given his outlook on New Year\u2019s Eve, it makes sense that he would prefer to provide viewers at home with something fun to watch.<\/p>\n When asked how the co-hosts spent New Year\u2019s before they began co-hosting CNN\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve Live<\/em> special, Andy<\/strong> revealed that he used to \u201cparty it up.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI would party it up and he would look for a hole to climb in,\u201d the Real Housewives<\/em> host said. \u201cBut [Anderson<\/strong>] has been doing this on CNN for like, 19 years, so\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAlmost 20. I initially did it all by myself because it was just like doing a lot of live shots for CNN. And no one else wanted to work on New Year\u2019s Eve. So I thought, \u201cYeah, I\u2019ll work on New Year\u2019s Eve.
