TikTok influencer <\/span>Tianna Robillard<\/b> has been receiving backlash for her irresponsible behavior leading up to a brand trip.<\/span><\/p>\n

On December 7, the influencer announced that she was accepting an invitation to go on a brand trip to Turks and Caicos with beauty brand Tarte Cosmetics.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, Robillard\u2019s arrival for the big trip didn\u2019t exactly go as planned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When she shared a video complaining to her viewers that she missed her flight due to spending extra time removing her self tanner, her comments section began to fill with backlash, calling her behavior rude and out of touch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLeave it to me, y\u2019all, to miss my bag check time,\u201d Robillard said to start off her December 10 <\/span>TikTok video<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

She then explained that everyone going on the brand trip was supposed to fly to Miami so they could meet up and then take two planes as a group from there to Turks and Caicos.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI missed my flight to Miami, so everyone\u2019s gonna be gone when I get there. I don\u2019t get to fly with my friends now,\u201d Robillard continued in the video.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re seeing if they can push one of the planes back, like, an hour and a half, so that maybe I can make it. That\u2019s, like, our hope and dream,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the comments, Robillard\u2019s viewers began to point out that her behavior in the situation seemed to come off as careless and rude to the other people on the trip as well as the brand\u2019s employees that planned everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPush an entire plane back for one irresponsible person? That\u2019s terrible,\u201d one commenter said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTell me you\u2019re entitled without telling me you\u2019re entitled \ud83d\ude05\u201d another commenter added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Many viewers pointed out that Robillard seemed to be ignoring the fact that her delays could potentially affect other people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGirl I\u2019d be so annoyed if I had to wait for you. People really need to work on time management, you\u2019re an adult,\u201d one commenter pointed out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eventually, Robillard <\/span>made it to Turks and Caicos<\/span><\/a> after everyone else had already arrived and went on to enjoy the rest of the activities on the trip as planned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, on December 15, she took to TikTok to make <\/span>a video<\/span><\/a> pushing back against the backlash she had been receiving on the initial video.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHey guys, my whole page has been dedicated for the last two years of showing what a hot mess I am, and that I make mistakes, and that I\u2019m human, and that there\u2019s nothing perfect or aesthetic about me at all,\u201d she explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

She then went on to defend the way the situation was handled, saying that she felt terrible for missing the flight and that the Tarte team was very understanding and that they were the ones to suggest delaying the plane.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI have never asked the plane to hold for me,\u201d she then clarified. \u201cI can\u2019t. I don\u2019t even know who I would call to do that. That was never an option I thought was possible, that was a suggestion texted to me of a potential option that might be able to happen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She then made it clear that they never actually delayed the plane for her, and that the Tarte team and the other influencers on the trip did not feel disrespected by her late arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey know me, they know my heart, they know my loyalty, they know my dedication, they know how much I love the brands that I work with,\u201d she said of the Tarte team.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She then explained that despite the backlash, she was grateful to have been on the trip.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re all just trying our freaking best,\u201d she said. \u201cWe really are just trying our best. And, Tarte team, I love you, thank you for always making me feel like family and just helping me where you could, helping me get there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
