Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong><\/a> still can\u2019t believe he\u2019s on the cover of a Wheaties box.<\/span><\/p>\n

The actor, 29, addressed his limited-edition Wheaties \u201cMarty Supreme Box<\/span><\/a>\u201d during an appearance on the Wednesday, December 17 edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fallon, 51, beamed as he held up the box, which features a very serious-looking Chalamet as the fictional table-tennis champ Marty Mauser, whom he portrays in the upcoming film Marty Supreme<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what I\u2019m talking about,\u201d Fallon gushed. \u201cAre you kidding me?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGwyneth Paltrow accidentally mistook Marty Supreme costar Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet\u2019s makeup for bad skin \u2014 and offered up some unsolicited advice. \u201cIn Marty Supreme, Timoth\u00e9e has pockmarks, and they made his eyes beady with contacts and glasses,\u201d Paltrow, 53, said during the Tuesday, December 2, episode of The Run-Through With Vogue. \u201cAnd it\u2019s all makeup.\u201d Paltrow [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In response, Chalamet joked, \u201cWith my emaciated borderline anemic frame. The only way I was ever going to get on a Wheaties box was by way of the arts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added, \u201cShout-out [to] all the arts kids out there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Chalamet\u2019s performance in Marty Supreme<\/i>, a 1950s-era dramedy directed by Josh Safdie<\/strong> and costarring Gwyneth Paltrow<\/strong><\/a>, has received positive reviews from critics. It hits theaters Christmas day.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a movie about sacrificing pursuit of a dream,\u201d he said Wednesday. \u201cAnd it\u2019s something I can relate to deeply. And we live in a bleak time, especially for young people. So, this film is an attempt at an antidote to that \u2014 and to continue to believe in yourself, to continue to dream big and to follow your dreams and not take no for an answer. That\u2019s the spirit of Marty Supreme<\/i>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Chalamet admitted that he feels a bit self-conscious about promoting the movie with so much enthusiasm<\/span><\/a>, but nevertheless is compelled to do all that he can to persuade people to see it in the theater.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn my head, something is like, \u2018Don\u2019t go this hard, don\u2019t go this hard,\u2019\u2019\u2019 he said. \u201cBut I know 10 years from now, 15 years from now \u2014 and I\u2019ve been a part of a lot of projects I\u2019m very proud of \u2014 [but] this is the one, man. Marty Supreme<\/i> is the one.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Chalamet hasn\u2019t been shy about tooting his own horn.<\/span><\/p>\n
