Kylie Kelce<\/b> made it clear she\u2019s more than ready for a return to the loft.<\/span><\/p>\n The podcast host welcomed actress <\/span>Zooey Deschanel<\/b> onto her <\/span>Not Gonna Lie<\/span><\/i><\/a> podcast, where the conversation quickly turned to the possibility of a <\/span>New Girl<\/span><\/i> reunion, a topic Kelce approached as a devoted superfan.<\/span><\/p>\n Kelce didn\u2019t hold back when telling Deschanel just how much the beloved sitcom means to her. \u201cI\u2019ve watched <\/span>New Girl<\/span><\/i>, I can\u2019t even tell you how many times all the way through. It\u2019s one of my favorite TV shows, so first and maybe most important question for you: when are we getting more?\u201d she asked.<\/span><\/p>\n Deschanel, who starred as Jessica Day on the hit Fox comedy, didn\u2019t hesitate with her answer. \u201cI don\u2019t know. I will totally do it though. I\u2019m in. I\u2019m in,\u201d she said, signaling she\u2019d be happy to revisit the role that helped define her career.<\/span><\/p>\n While no official plans are in place, Deschanel shared a humorous and very on-brand idea of how a reunion could actually come together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She joked that co-star <\/span>Jake Johnson<\/b>, who played Nick Miller, isn\u2019t exactly eager to leave the house these days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cJake Johnson doesn\u2019t like to leave his house much, so we would have to film it at his house,\u201d Deschanel said, adding that she thinks he\u2019d be on board \u201cif it were filmed at his house. One day a week.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Kelce followed up by asking directly whether a <\/span>New Girl<\/span><\/i> reunion could actually happen. Deschanel once again made it clear she\u2019d be open to the idea. \u201cWe don\u2019t have anything planned, but like again, I\u2019m up for it,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n Kelce then said, \u201cSo I just need to rally the troops.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n New Girl<\/span><\/i> aired for <\/span>seven seasons<\/span><\/a> from 2011 to 2018 and was a major hit during its run.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Fox comedy drew strong ratings, earned award nominations, and developed a devoted fan base that has only grown through streaming in the years since making calls for a reunion as loud as ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
