HBO Max dropped the first look at season two of <\/span>The Pitt<\/span><\/i> <\/a>on Dec. 16, and the footage makes it clear that the Pittsburgh Trauma Hospital\u2019s ER isn\u2019t getting any quieter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Set against the chaos of the Fourth of July, the new trailer promises nonstop urgency, emotional collisions and unresolved tensions as the staff braces for another grueling run.<\/span><\/p>\n The trailer starts with Dr. Michael \u201cRobby\u201d Robinavitch (<\/span>Noah Wyle<\/b>) saying, \u201cand so it\u2019s begins\u201d in a calm moment before chaos takes over. The waiting room is full, stretchers rush in, and emergencies pile up as the busy holiday pushes the ER to its limit.<\/span><\/p>\n Despite previously hinting she might step away, charge nurse Dana Evans (<\/span>Katherine LaNasa<\/b>) is shown returning after a short absence, signaling she\u2019s not done with the ER just yet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The trailer also confirms the return of core team members, including Dr. McKay (<\/span>Fiona Dourif<\/b>), Dr. Santos (<\/span>Isa Briones<\/b>), Dr. Mohan (<\/span>Supriya Ganesh<\/b>) and Dr. King (<\/span>Taylor Dearden<\/b>), along with the return of medical students, Witaker (<\/span>Gerran Howell<\/b>) and Javadi (<\/span>Shabana Azeez<\/b>).<\/span><\/p>\n Adding to the tension, Dr. Langdon (<\/span>Patrick Ball<\/b>) returns to the ER after rehab following last season\u2019s drug-theft scandal.
