Season 28 of The Voice<\/i><\/span><\/a> has come to an end with a brand-new winner.<\/p>\n

During the Tuesday, December 16, episode of NBC\u2019s competition series, host Carson Daly<\/strong> announced Texas A&M University student Aiden Ross<\/strong><\/a> from Team Niall Horan<\/strong><\/a> received the most votes from America.<\/p>\n

Fellow coaches Reba McEntire<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, Michael Bubl\u00e9 <\/span><\/a><\/strong>and<\/span>\u00a0Snoop Dogg<\/span><\/a><\/strong> delivered a standing ovation for the winner, who is walking away with a record deal and a substantial cash prize. As for Niall, he is walking away with bragging rights for having a perfect record of having the winning contestant in every season he has coached.<\/p>\n

One day earlier, the remaining finalists, including Aubrey Nicole<\/strong> (Team Reba),\u00a0Jazz McKenzie<\/strong> (Team Michael), Ralph Edwards<\/strong><\/a> (Team Snoop), Max Chambers<\/strong> (Team Michael) and country group Dek of Hearts (Team Niall) performed for America\u2019s vote.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Voice has been stunning viewers for years with amazing talent from across the United States, crowning 27\u00a0winners since it premiered in 2011. During season 19 of the NBC singing competition series, New York native Carter Rubin blew audiences away with his singing abilities and saw coach Gwen Stefani secure her first win. At just [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Before each artist performed two songs, many of the coaches expressed how impressed they were with the talent from season 28.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think this one is the highest level across the board of talent,\u201d Niall exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i><\/a> while attending The Voice<\/i> season 28 live show red carpet on Monday, December 15. \u201cI think going into finals in previous seasons that I\u2019ve been here, I have a good idea of who\u2019s gonna either win or get very close, but backstage, even between us, we can\u2019t call it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Niall acknowledged that he had two incredible artists in the finale, he also realized it\u2019s up to America to decide who wins.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure everyone else thinks that they\u2019ve got an unbelievable artist, but the talent level is through the roof,\u201d he shared. \u201cPeople like Ralph and then you\u2019ve got my two and it\u2019s a whole thing this season, more than I can remember.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking of Ralph, Snoop couldn\u2019t hide his excitement at seeing his finalist soar throughout the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had 11 opportunities to be on The Voice<\/i> and he didn\u2019t make it, and on the 12th opportunity, it\u2019s like the 12th day of Christmas,\u201d Snoop shared. \u201cRalph was able to persevere and push through. I feel like this is a moment for him more than anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Reba, she was grateful to have the opportunity to coach Aubrey throughout the season. The country music legend\u2019s biggest reminder for her contestant was to have fun.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is the best advice I\u2019ve ever gotten,\u201d she told Us<\/i>. \u201cBut before you get to have fun, you\u2019ve got to be prepared. Know your lines or your song \u2014 whatever it is \u2014 so you can go up there on that stage, when the lights come on and the microphone is in your hand, you can have fun, because you know what you\u2019re supposed to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
