While Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s rerecorded albums have proven to be a success among Swifties<\/a>, the pop star was initially wary of its potential when she started recording\u00a0Fearless (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u00a0<\/i><\/a>with Maren Morris<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was so nice and so generous of you to lend your voice to the very first rerecording I had because nobody knew if this was going to be, like, a success or a very embarrassing project,\u201d the \u201cMastermind\u201d songstress, 33, quipped to Morris, also 33, during her second\u00a0Eras Tour\u00a0<\/i>concert in Chicago<\/a> on Saturday, June 3, per Twitter<\/a> footage. \u201cIt could have been very embarrassing for you.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift had invited the Texas native \u2014 who attended the Soldier Field gig alongside her husband, Ryan Hurd<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 to perform their\u00a0Fearless\u00a0<\/i>vault track, \u201cYou All Over Me,\u201d<\/a> live for concertgoers for the first time. Morris was equally enthused about working together<\/a> on the acoustic single.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s one of my favorite records, so it was an honor to be on it and [it was] during COVID,<\/a> so it was weird times,\u201d the \u201cBones\u201d artist gushed before Swift chimed in and multiplied her \u201cthank you by a billion\u201d for the duet.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Valentine\u2019s Day\u00a0<\/i>actress announced in August 2019 that she planned to rerecord her\u00a0Big Machine Records\u00a0discography<\/a> after Scooter Braun<\/strong> <\/a>purchased the rights to her masters<\/a> for more than $300 million from label owner Scott Borchetta<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0Fearless\u00a0<\/i>was the first LP to get the rerecording treatment<\/a>, featuring the 20 OG hits and six new songs. The album dropped in April 2021.<\/p>\n Swift\u2019s\u00a0Fearless (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u00a0<\/i>quickly became a hit among fans, shortly before the release of her\u00a0<\/a>Red (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>the following November.\u00a0Speak Now (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u00a0<\/i>will join the collection on Friday, July 7<\/a>.
