It\u2019s all the different feels.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you want to be able to go and have a good time \u2026 you\u2019re going to be screaming at the screen, you\u2019re going to be laughing, you\u2019re going to be crying. There\u2019s so much that we give everybody.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, it\u2019s a good emotional cleanse for yourself.\u201d\u2028<\/p>\n
\nAt the Los Angeles premiere of The Housemaid at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (15.12.25), Sweeney channelled her inner Marilyn Monroe with her plunging white halter-dress.<\/p>\n
\nThe Euphoria star wore a custom white halter-neck gown by bridal designer Galia Lahav, featuring a waist-cinching bodice and a sweeping skirt finished with a feathered hem. <\/p>\n
\nThe look was widely compared to the iconic dress worn by Monroe in The Seven Year Itch in 1955.<\/p>\n
\nSweeney completed the ensemble with loose, flowing waves, bold red lipstick and a shimmery eye, leaning fully into the golden-age Hollywood aesthetic for the high-profile premiere.<\/p>\n
\nThe Christy actress was joined by her co-star Seyfried, who stunned in a shimmering red dress from Monse\u2019s Pre-Fall 2026 collection, paired with gold heeled sandals.<\/p>\n
\nThe pair posed together on the carpet as excitement builds for the psychological thriller\u2019s release.<\/p>\n
\nBased on McFadden\u2019s 2022 novel, The Housemaid follows Millie (Sweeney), a young woman who takes what appears to be her dream job, only to find herself tormented by her increasingly volatile employer Nina (Seyfried).<\/p>\n
\nMillie eventually discovers Nina and her husband Andrew (Brandon Sklenar) are hiding some sinister secrets about the family\u2019s shocking history of control, abuse and hidden identities.<\/p>\n
\nAfter the premiere, Sweeney changed outfits for the afterparty, slipping into a second white look with a strapless mini dress adorned with floral appliques, styled with white pumps.<\/p>\n
\nThis comes after Sweeney confirmed her \u201cboobs [are] real\u201d and she has not had plastic surgery because she is \u201cso scared of needles\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nIn a joint interview with Seyfried for Allure magazine, she said: \u201cLet\u2019s debunk them all [the rumours]. I mean, I have never gotten work done. I am so scared of needles, you have no idea \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Mamma Mia! star said: \u201cBut it’s really effective once you get older, I’m telling you right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSweeney then added: \u201cI am too scared of needles.\u201d<\/p>\n
