Rob Reiner<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s son Nick Reiner<\/strong> had \u201calways been hostile and volatile\u201d toward his family before he was arrested over claims he murdered his parents, sources exclusively tell Us Weekly<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRob Reiner and wife Michele Singer Reiner\u2018s son Nick Reiner has been arrested on a murder charge after the couple were stabbed to death at their home in Brentwood, California, Us Weekly can confirm. The Los Angeles Police Department Parker City Jail told Us on Monday, December 15, that Nick, 32, is currently in custody [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The source said Nick\u2019s hostility and volatility weren\u2019t just directed at his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner<\/strong>, but his siblings, too. Rob and Michele, who wed in 1989, shared three kids: Nick, son Jake<\/strong> and daughter Romy<\/strong>. Rob had a second daughter named Tracy<\/strong><\/a>, whom he adopted with his ex-wife, Penny Marshall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cRomy has been so traumatized by Nick\u2019s behavior. She has always been so close with her parents, and watching their constant pain over Nick has impacted her and the whole family so much,\u201d the source told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Rob and Michele were honest about their struggles with Nick, and those who spent time with the family saw it firsthand,\u201d one source revealed. \u201cEveryone who knew them and loved them is struggling right now, because it was never a secret.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider explained that Rob and Michele\u2019s friends are thinking, \u201cWhat could we have done to help or to prevent this?\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source told Us<\/em> that people who grew up with Nick around Los Angeles are not surprised by his arrest.<\/p>\n
