Kristen Stewart<\/a> says being married to Dylan Meyer has reshaped her sense of home and identity.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The Twilight star, 35, and the 38-year-old screenwriter tied the knot in the garden of their home in Los Angeles on Easter Sunday (20.04.25).<\/p>\n
And, in a new interview, the actress has opened up about how grateful she is for the family she has curated.<\/p>\n
She told Esquire: “It\u2019s so nice to have a family. It\u2019s so nice to not be an unmoored individual. Dylan came into my life, and I immediately was like, \u2018It\u2019s so important to handpick and curate the people that surround you.'”<\/p>\n
Kristen went on to describe one of the qualities she admires most in her other half \u2014 her refusal to entertain nonsense \u2014 and how that dynamic strengthens her. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: “Dylan just does not suffer fools. I may not always seem like it, but I really am kind of a \u2018nice guy.\u2019 It\u2019s just bolstering to be with someone that reminds you that your life is in your hands.”<\/p>\n
\nThe director also admitted that she benefits from some moments of solitude in the mornings before her wife goes to work.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I am so with people all the time. I’m an Aries, so it’s rare that I’m not in a group. I like to steal time and remind myself to be alone.”<\/p>\n
\nThe pair got engaged in 2021 after two years together.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Kristen and Dylan have frozen their eggs in a bid to start a family in the future.<\/p>\n
\nKristen said: “We’ve done really annoying things like freeze our eggs and stuff. So if we want to we can.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Charlie’s Angels star admitted she is looking forward to having children one day.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Rolling Stone magazine: \u201cI don\u2019t know what my family\u2019s going to look like, but there\u2019s no way that I don\u2019t start acquiring kids.<\/p>\n
\n“And also, ideally at some point soon I go, \u2018I want to have a kid.\u2019 I really want that to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHowever, the Spencer star admitted she is “scared” of giving birth because she doesn’t like the idea of feeling out of control.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI\u2019m not scared of being pregnant. I\u2019m not scared of having a kid. But I\u2019m so scared of childbirth, it\u2019s crazy.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI hate that. I mean, I smoke a lot of weed \u2014 I obviously self-medicate \u2014 but I don\u2019t like hard drugs. And I\u2019ve tried \u2014 a lot. I just can\u2019t deal.\u201d<\/p>\n
