As Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> geared up for the second stop on his so-called \u201capology tour\u201d on Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>, he confessed his relationship with Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t as healthy as the one with Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the easiest of the chores was going to see Janelle and apologize to her,\u201d Kody, 56, revealed during the Sunday, December 14, episode of the TLC series after having a successful trip to see Janelle, 56, in North Carolina one episode prior<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He confessed, \u201cSo when I go see Christine, I don\u2019t expect it to be easy necessarily.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kody added that he was hoping for the \u201csame kind of tenderness and grace\u201d from Christine, 53, as he received from Janelle, but was \u201cprepared for a very different experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSister Wives\u2019 Christine Brown has moved on from ex-husband Kody Brown \u2014 but that doesn\u2019t mean she\u2019s unfazed by his comments about their relationship. \u201cI get frustrated and hurt,\u201d Christine, 52, exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, referring to Kody\u2019s negative remarks about reportedly not loving any of his ex-wives. Christine and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kody later explained that Christine being the first of his three exes to leave him in November 2021<\/a> complicated their current relationship. (Janelle followed in December 2022, while Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> confirmed her split from Kody in January 2023. Kody remains married to fourth wife Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the last time we talked about our relationship may very well have been when she told me she\u2019s done<\/a> and she wants to move,\u201d Kody recalled. \u201cI mean, I didn\u2019t react really positively to any of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

He acknowledged, \u201cI am walking into an environment where trust has been killed. I mean, we don\u2019t have trust.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite being on rocky ground with Christine, who is the mother of six<\/a> of Kody\u2019s children, he said he was choosing to offer \u201can olive branch\u201d in hopes they could bury their issues.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKody Brown is ready to take responsibility for his mistakes. During the Sunday, December 7, episode of Sister Wives, the TLC reality star traveled to North Carolina to meet up with his ex-wife Janelle Brown. \u201cI\u2019m basically just following through with my plans for an apology to my ex-wives and I\u2019m willing to accept that [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When Kody finally met up with Christine, he also made sure to invite her new husband, David Woolley<\/strong><\/a>, to show \u201crespect.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to apologize with all my heart for how we broke up<\/a>, for how it all went down,\u201d Kody began, while sitting at a table with both Christine and David in Las Vegas. \u201cI want to apologize for being angry about it. I want to apologize for the struggles.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine received his apology, but told her ex-husband it is \u201cin the past.\u201d She added, \u201cApologies are nice, but I\u2019m saying it\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kody noted that the \u201chuge\u201d thing he wanted to apologize for was saying he \u201cdidn\u2019t love<\/a>\u201d Christine or any of his other exes. \u201cI was angry and that wasn\u2019t cool,\u201d he confessed.<\/p>\n

While Christine previously took offense to Kody claiming he didn\u2019t have feelings<\/a> for her, Janelle or Meri, 54, amid their breakups, she told the cameras she was way past that drama.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, you just got to let that go. I remember what it was like, but I\u2019ve got a new husband here now and it\u2019s weird, man,\u201d she said on Sunday\u2019s episode. \u201cThat\u2019s a weird thing to say. I have a husband right here now, you know, to [say], \u2018I used to love you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine confessed, \u201cI can\u2019t imagine what\u2019s going through David\u2019s head right now. \u2026 I know that doesn\u2019t affect me. That\u2019s you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tChristine Brown couldn\u2019t help but compare her relationship with ex-husband Kody Brown to David Woolley after David proposed in this week\u2019s Sister Wives episode. \u201cI\u2019ve never felt like this before,\u201d Christine, 52, told the cameras during the Sunday, November 17, episode of the TLC series after viewers watched her proposal to David, 60, play out [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a preview for next week\u2019s episode, David comes to Christine\u2019s defense<\/a> and their cordial conversation with Kody appears to escalate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my husband here. This is so weird,\u201d Christine says in the clip for the Sunday, December 21, episode.<\/p>\n

The camera then flips to David speaking to Kody directly. \u201cYou know damn well you loved her because you wouldn\u2019t [have] got married, you wouldn\u2019t have all these kids, if you didn\u2019t love her,\u201d David quips.<\/p>\n
