Edit 1: Variety is now reporting that Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer are deceased and their deaths are being investigated as a stabbing homicide. <\/b><\/p>\n
“Two people were found dead Sunday afternoon inside a Brentwood home owned by director and actor Rob Reiner, multiple law enforcement sources told NBCLA.<\/p>\n
The LA Fire Department said a man and a woman were found deceased inside, approximately 78 and 68 years old.”<\/p>\n
Multiple sources are reporting that two bodies have been found in the home of Rob Reiner that match the age of him and his wife. LAPD Robbery Homicide detectives are on site.<\/p>\n

Rob Reiner was a well known director, writer and actor. His credits included This is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, Misery, Wolf of Wall Street, Sleepless in Seattle, The Princess Bride, and my favorite, The First Wives Club. He was a staunch progressive voice and activist in causes “which encompassed gay rights advocacy and a protracted battle with the tobacco lobby.” This is absolutely awful news and he will be missed.<\/p>\n
