A couple in California has been accused of torturing and killing the man\u2019s 14-month-old daughter.<\/p>\n
The Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office announced<\/a> on Tuesday, December 2 that Alfredo Mu\u00f1oz Jr.<\/strong> and Kelly Anelalani Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong> are both facing one count of murder, torture and assault on a child causing death in connection after they allegedly killed the child.<\/p>\n During a court hearing on Monday, December 1, Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Brian Rosenberg alleged that the couple \u201cbroke multiple bones\u201d of the young girl \u201cover numerous incidents\u201d that began on July 1, according to the Long Beach Post<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n A press release<\/a> stated that the Long Beach Police Department responded to Miller Children\u2019s Hospital on November 7 regarding \u201ca possible child abuse incident.\u201d<\/p>\n \u2018The Holiday\u2019 Ending Made No Sense \u2014 Here\u2019s Why It Desperately Needs a Sequel<\/a><\/p>\n The child, who was identified as Tilly S., was found \u201cunresponsive and with signs of trauma,\u201d according to the release. Hochman said in a statement about the incident. \u201cOur Office is committed to seeking justice for Tilly and ensuring those responsible are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.\u201d<\/p>\n Alfredo has a history of legal issues. The Los Angeles Times<\/a><\/em> reported that he previously pleaded no contest to one count of willful cruelty to a child causing possible injury or death, according to court records. He was subsequently sentenced to serve four years in prison in 2021, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n The couple is scheduled to appear at an arraignment hearing on December 16.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
