Every flower, every light, is a memory held together, an illumination of shared love, remembrance, and hope \u2013 C.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her handwritten note said: \u201cIn loving memory of all those who have lost their lives to cancer \u2013 C.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Catherine shared her cancer diagnosis in March 2024 and revealed in January 2025 that she was in remission.<\/p>\n<p>\nSpeaking previously about her treatment, she said: &#8220;You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment, treatments done, then it&#8217;s like, &#8216;I can crack on, get back to normal,&#8217; but actually the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nCatherine received her cancer treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea following her cancer diagnosis and she and her husband Prince William, 43, became Joint Patrons of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in January. <\/p>\n<p>\nThe Royal Marsden Cancer Charity said at the time: \u201cHer Royal Highness\u2019 message over the last year has been one of resilience and hope, and her support for The Royal Marsden stems from a deep empathy for those facing similar challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cThe Prince of Wales has held the role of President of The Royal Marsden since 2007; a position which was previously held by his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- Pagination --><\/p>\n<p><!-- playbuzz --><br \/>\n<!-- end playbuzz--><\/p>\n<p><!-- \n\n<div data-cn-project=\"femalefirst\">\n    \n<\/div>\n\n --><\/p>\n<p><!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><br \/>\n<!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><\/p>\n<p>    <!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><br \/>\n    <!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/royal_family\/duchess-catherines-cancer-note-1434572.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>14 December 2025 Catherine, Princess of Wales left a handwritten note at an art installation dedicated to those who have lost their lives to cancer.
