Lori Loughlin<\/strong><\/a> made a rare public appearance to promote her return to When Calls the Heart<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The show\u2019s Instagram page shared a clip<\/a> of Loughlin, 61, speaking during the When Calls the Heart<\/em> panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience on Friday, December 12. Hallmark confirmed on December 2 that Loughlin will reprise her role<\/a> as Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart<\/em> seven years after exiting the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels amazing [to return] and my girl [Erin Krakow<\/strong>] here has been championing this for a long time,\u201d she told fans. \u201cWhen did I find out, maybe like a month ago, two months ago, and I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming \u2026 and this just feels incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

People<\/em><\/a> quoted Loughlin as saying that she was thrilled to be reuniting with When Calls the Heart<\/em>\u2019s \u201cspecial cast.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBefore they made headlines for their involvement in a nationwide college admissions scam, Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, kept their private life largely out of the spotlight. After more than 20 years of marriage, the Full House alum and the fashion designer came under fire for their part in the scandal that saw [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c[We have] such a special bond and it\u2019s just so nice to be back with my family,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

When Calls the Heart<\/em> fans were undoubtedly thrilled when Hallmark recently confirmed that Loughlin is returning for six of season 14\u2019s 12 episodes. (The new season of When Calls the Heart<\/em> will be filmed next year and will air in 2027.)<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the series\u2019 debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties,\u201d Michelle Vicary<\/strong>, Hallmark Media\u2019s head of programming, said in a statement on December 2. \u201cAt its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of When Calls the Heart<\/em>. We felt that season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail\u2019s story with her return to this beloved series.\u201d<\/p>\n

Loughlin\u2019s TV comeback comes amid upheaval in her personal life. A spokesperson for the former Full House<\/em> star confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> on October 2 that Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli<\/strong>, had separated after nearly 28 years of marriage. (Loughlin and Giannulli, 62, share two daughters: Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are living apart now,\u201d Loughlin\u2019s rep told Us<\/em> at the time. \u201cThere are no legal proceedings underway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> subsequently learned<\/a> that the former couple decided to separate after realizing they were \u201cnot on the same page.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,\u201d a source told Us<\/em> in October. \u201cThis isn\u2019t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider added, \u201cThey will not reconcile \u2014 there is currently no chance \u2014 and will ultimately divorce.\u201d<\/p>\n
