After rumors about a break up between social media star Alix Earle<\/strong> and NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios<\/strong> began to swirl online, Earle has shared a video explaining her side of the story.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, December 13, Earle took to Instagram<\/a> to confirm the rumors that she and Berrios, 30, have officially ended their relationship. The young couple began dating in early 2023.<\/p>\n

In the video, an emotional Earle, 24, admitted that the break up has been \u201creally hard to process.\u201d She continued saying that she has shied away from speaking publicly about the break up \u201cbecause I feel like it just makes it more real.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBraxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since basically June, and we haven\u2019t gotten to see each other that often,\u201d Earle continued.<\/p>\n

Admitting that the distance had been difficult, Earle explained that she began second guessing herself after moving out to Los Angeles while competing on Dancing With the Stars, <\/i>revealing she really enjoying herself while living on the West Coast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought that, you know, maybe I wanted to stay (in LA), and I felt really motivated. And I think that was a scary thing for me to realize, because it meant us not being in the same place,\u201d Earle explained, adding that \u201ca part of me just also really wants to be focusing on myself right now, and I just feel like I can\u2019t be what Braxton needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earle continued saying that she can\u2019t be there for Berrios \u201c24\/7.\u201d And although Berrios wasn\u2019t expecting that from Earle, she said, \u201cI want him to have someone with him 24\/7, who can support him and be there for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was more a me thing,\u201d Earle admitted, \u201cbut I constantly felt like guilty, and I love Braxton, he\u2019s my best friend, you know. So it\u2019s been really difficult as we\u2019re trying to just go forward with this. It just kind of feels like we\u2019re on two different paths right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earle noted that she and Berrios remain on good terms before cautioning her fans, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t want anyone to come for him, or to be mean to him, or to say it\u2019s because he couldn\u2019t make it to Dancing with the Stars because he couldn\u2019t come because of football.\u201d<\/p>\n

The influencer then shared more details about her fears, admitting that part of her \u201cdoesn\u2019t know if how I feel even makes sense. Like I think I question myself a lot of, why do I feel this way? Or are these feelings correct? But I feel like I just ultimately wanted to go with trusting my feelings, and this has just been really hard,\u201d she said, through tears.<\/p>\n

After taking some time for themselves to \u201cjust process everything,\u201d Earle is calling this moment in her like \u201ca new chapter, and just thank you guys for being a part of all the amazing memories,\u201d she said to her fans.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
