It seems like the entertainment world is vying for popular book series to adapt into live-action movies or shows \u2014 from The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/em> to Percy Jackson.<\/em><\/p>\n Keep reading uncover all of the books from BookTok that are getting their own live-action adaptations!<\/p>\n One of the most highly anticipated adaptations is, of course, Fourth Wing<\/em>. The show is officially in the works by Amazon and Outlier Society, a.k.a. Michael B. Jordan<\/strong>\u2019s production company. Outlier has acquired the rights to not only Fourth Wing<\/em>, but its four remaining planned books in author Rebecca Yarros<\/strong>\u2018 Fourth Wing<\/em>-universe, also titled The Empyrean book series.<\/p>\n Rebecca will be acting as a non-writing executive producer on the show, and posted her excitement over the upcoming series via Instagram in October 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so humbled and thrilled to announce that FOURTH WING has been optioned and is currently in development for a TV series by Amazon MGM Studios with Michael B.
