After Apple Music upgraded <\/span>Taylor Swifts\u2019<\/b> catalog to Dolby Atmos, fans spotted subtle changes in a couple of tracks from Swift\u2019s hit 2017 album, <\/span>Reputation<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The superstar seemed to quietly alter lyrics in two songs: \u201cI Did Something Bad\u201d and \u201cDelicate\u201d on the streaming platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the original \u201cI Did Something Bad,\u201d the line \u201cBut if he drops my name, then I owe him nothing \/ And if he spends my change, then he had it comin\u2019\u201d has been updated to \u201cIf a man talks s\u2014, then I owe him nothing \/ And if he calls me a b***h, then he had it comin\u2019.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, track five, <\/span>Delicate<\/span><\/i>, received a minor change as well, with \u201cOh, d*mn, never seen that color blue\u201d now reading \u201cG*dd*mn, never seen that color blue.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Before reclaiming her <\/span>masters in May 2025<\/span><\/a>, the 35-year-old <\/span>Love Story<\/span><\/i> singer re-recorded four of her first six albums: <\/span>Fearless<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Red<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Speak Now<\/span><\/i>, and <\/span>1989<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has yet to re-record her 2006 debut album, <\/span>Taylor Swift<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Reputation<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

After regaining <\/span>control of her masters<\/span><\/a>, Swift finally addressed whether she plans to re-record <\/span>Reputation<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI know, I know. What about Rep TV? Full transparency: I haven\u2019t even re-recorded a quarter of it. The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cAll that defiance, that longing to be understood while feeling purposely misunderstood, that desperate hope, that shame-born snarl and mischief,\u201d she continued <\/span>in a letter<\/span><\/a> posted to her website.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift then admitted<\/span><\/a>, \u201cTo be perfectly honest, it\u2019s the one album in those first 6 that I thought couldn\u2019t be improved upon by redoing it. Not the music, or the photos, or videos. So I kept putting it off. There will be a time (if you\u2019re into the idea) for the unreleased vault tracks from that album to hatch.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Listeners are left guessing about the reason behind the lyric updates, but many Swifties are speculating that it could be connected to <\/span>Reputation (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n
