Hell has indeed frozen over! Kim Cattrall<\/a><\/strong> will appear in Season 2 of And Just Like That\u2026<\/a><\/em><\/strong> Cattrall will reprise her role as Samantha Jones in the second season of the Sex and the City sequel series.<\/p>\n According to Variety<\/em>, the actor shot her dialogue without speaking to or seeing the rest of the cast. Cattrall has spoken of tension between herself and star Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a><\/strong> and was not included in the first season of the new series.<\/p>\n In the first season of And Just Like That<\/em>, which brings back Parker and original stars Cynthia Nixon<\/a><\/strong> and Kristin Davis<\/a><\/strong>, Cattrall\u2019s character had moved to London and was distant from the group after a disagreement. The new scene will see her have a phone conversation with Parker.<\/p>\n The report also suggests that Cattrall was dressed by Sex and the City<\/strong> costume designer Patricia Field<\/strong> who wasn\u2019t part of And Just Like That<\/em> season one after a scheduling clash with her work on Netflix\u2019s Emily in Paris<\/a><\/strong><\/em>. Field told the Guardian<\/em> she was \u201cup in arms that [Kim Cattrall] didn\u2019t go\u201d but added that she understood \u201cthat was personal with her, and it doesn\u2019t matter now\u201d.<\/p>\n The pair also worked together on Cattrall\u2019s upcoming Netflix show Glamorous<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n After six seasons of the hit HBO show and two feature-length movies, Cattrall turned down the chance to reprise her character for a third film which was consequently canceled. \u201cIt\u2019s a great wisdom to know when enough is enough,\u201d Cattrall told Variety <\/em>in 2022. \u201cI also didn\u2019t want to compromise what the show was to me. The way forward seemed clear.\u201d<\/p>\n She also added: \u201cI was never asked to be part of the reboot. I made my feelings clear after the possible third movie, so I found out about it like everyone else did \u2013 on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n
