Giving props. Tom Holland<\/a> <\/strong>revealed his favorite Spider-Man<\/em> movie is one that he didn\u2019t star in.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the first Spider-Verse<\/em> movie is the best Spider-Man<\/em> movie that\u2019s ever been made,\u201d Holland, 27, told AP<\/em> at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room on Thursday, June 1.<\/p>\n Into the Spider-Verse<\/em> swung into theaters in 2018 and the sequel, Across the Spider-Verse<\/em>, hit the big screen on Friday, June 2.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so proud of everyone involved. [Producer] Amy Pascal<\/strong><\/a> is like my mom,\u201d the England native gushed, adding that he had hoped to attend the film\u2019s big premiere. \u201cI was supposed to go with her [to the premiere] as her date, I couldn\u2019t go because I\u2019m here working. But I\u2019m incredibly proud of them, I\u2019m excited for the second one. I\u2019m sure it will live up to every expectation, and I can\u2019t wait to see it.\u201d<\/p>\n The animated Spider-Verse<\/em> films follow Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore<\/strong>) as he embraces his identity as Spider-Man and meets other Spider-people (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld<\/strong><\/a>, Oscar Isaac<\/strong><\/a> and Jake Johnson<\/strong><\/a>, just to name a few) throughout the multiverse.<\/p>\n As for Holland\u2019s role in the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe, he sounds optimistic about returning as the famous web-slinger after six films. He was last seen in 2021\u2019s Spider-Man: Far From Home<\/em><\/a>, which co-starred Tobey Maguire<\/strong><\/a> and Andrew Garfield<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cLook, all I\u2019ll say is as long as we can continue to elevate his character as long as we can continue to do justice to him and make the films mean more and do better, then I\u2019ll be there. I\u2019d be a fool to say I wouldn\u2019t,\u201d Holland told Extra<\/em><\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n The Uncharted<\/em> star added, \u201cI\u2019m in love with Peter Parker. he changed my life. It is the greatest gift, so if we can find a way to make one that will surpass the third one and be different and be interesting and be new, I\u2019ll be there. And if not, I\u2019ll swing off into the sunset<\/a> and it\u2019ll be the next lucky kid\u2019s job.\u201d<\/p>\n Holland is in talks with Sony and Marvel Studios about what his fourth Spider-Man film<\/em> might look like. However, the writer\u2019s strike has paused those planning sessions.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t talk about that, but I can say that we have been having meetings.
