For fans who\u2019ve ever wondered what Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> talk about, her Eras Tour<\/em> docuseries delivered a behind-the-scenes peek at one of their private conversations.<\/p>\n

The first episode of The End of an Era<\/em> \u2014 which premiered on Disney+ on Friday, December 12 \u2014 showed the pop star, 35, and the NFL player, 36, chatting on the phone with each other. In their first conversation, filmed before Swift\u2019s first Eras<\/em> performance in London in August 2024, Swift filled Kelce in on her preparations for Ed Sheeran<\/strong>\u2019s imminent appearance during the surprise songs portion of the set.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow are you guys so good?\u201d Kelce asked. \u201cYou can just do a little, like, in-the-back-room rehearsal and then go do this in front of everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift appreciated the compliment, replying, \u201cI love you. I don\u2019t know, how do you remember 36,000 plays that are all tactical missions and then just go do it? It\u2019s the same. It\u2019s basically the same job! I got songs to remember, you got plays to remember.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce then quipped, \u201cYou got teammates, I got teammates,\u201d before Swift added, \u201cYou\u2019ve got Coach [Andy] Reid<\/strong>, I\u2019ve got my mom,\u201d as they both burst into laughter.<\/p>\n

The duo then talked about how much Kelce wished he could be there for the show, with Swift jokingly lamenting, \u201cWhy do you have to be in the NFL?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce assured his then-girlfriend that he would be \u201cscouring the internet\u201d for videos of her performance, adding, \u201cI love you so much, babe.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Swift noted she loves him \u201cso much\u201d too, Kelce replied, \u201cThanks for making my life better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift agreed with the sentiment, telling him, \u201cI know, this was like, some people get a vitamin drip, I got this conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the episode, Swift called Kelce shortly after the concert to tell him that it went \u201cso great\u201d and she was \u201cso happy\u201d after feeling nervous.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I can hear it in your voice so much,\u201d Kelce replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so relieved,\u201d Swift added. \u201cBaby, it\u2019s like the crowd knew that I needed a pick-me-up. When I walked out on stage, they were wilder than I\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift\u2018s much-anticipated documentary show about her Eras Tour is hitting streaming in just a few weeks, chronicling a behind-the-scenes look at the record-breaking tour that lasted from March 2023 through December 2024. Kelce agreed, saying, \u201cThey definitely did.\u201d<\/p>\n

The End of an Era<\/em> offers an unprecedented glimpse of not only Swift\u2019s record-breaking Eras Tour<\/em> but also her relationship with Kelce<\/a>, which began in the summer of 2023. The first two episodes of the docuseries debuted on Friday, with two installments set to be released on both December 19 and December 26.<\/p>\n

The Eras Tour<\/em> holds special significance for the couple, who announced their engagement in August. Kelce famously tried to meet Swift at one of her Kansas City, Missouri, concerts in July 2023. After his plan to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it failed, he spoke publicly about their missed connection on his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast with brother Jason Kelce<\/strong>, which led Swift to reach out to Travis.<\/p>\n

During Swift\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d debut<\/a> in August, Travis explained the role the tour played in jump-starting his romance with Swift.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs much as you wanna give \u2018New Heights\u2019 credit, I give The Eras Tour<\/em> credit,\u201d he told Swift at the time. \u201cBecause if I would\u2019ve never gone to that show and been mesmerized and just been captivated and then left with such a desire to want to meet you, I would\u2019ve never went on here and told everybody how butthurt I was. I\u2019d never just been so engulfed in the curiosity of who you were.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not only was Travis swept away by Swift\u2019s onstage persona, but he was just as enchanted by her behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see you on the stage and you see how crazy you can get an entire stadium going, and then I get you in a room and it\u2019s like I\u2019ve known you forever,\u201d he gushed. \u201cIt was just the easiest conversation I ever had, and it was just so much fun that it just knocked my socks off.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cShe blew me away. I had never experienced something so mesmerizing on stage and then so real and so beautiful in person.\u201d<\/p>\n
