Braxton Berrios<\/strong> is defending himself after fans called him out for skipping his ex Alix Earle\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> performances before they split.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, December 11, Berrios, 30, appeared to poke fun at the drama surrounding his break-up by uploading a series of photos of himself and captioning it, \u201cWhat did I miss?\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans were quick to flock to the comments section to respond. One follower replied, \u201cEvery single performance of Alix\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

The comment referenced Berrios\u2019 absence from the crowd which cheered on Earle, 24, as she competed in Dancing With the Stars\u2019<\/em> season 34.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAlix Earle is addressing speculation that New York Giants rookie Jaxson Dart slid into her DMs following her split from Braxton Berrios. \u201cWhat is this fake photoshopped DM u guys are posting,\u201d Earle, 24, wrote via TikTok on Sunday, December 7. \u201c1. That never happened. 2. That wouldn\u2019t be on my story.\u201d Hours after news [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In response, the Houston Texans wide receiver claimed that he wanted to be there but was unable to do so due to his NFL commitments.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would\u2019ve been at every one if I could\u2019ve, sadly I can\u2019t travel like that in season,\u201d Berrios wrote.<\/p>\n

Earle and her Dancing With the Stars<\/em> partner, Val Chmerkovskiy,<\/strong> ultimately finished in second place on the reality show. They were beaten to the top spot by Robert Irwin<\/strong> and his DWTS<\/em> partner, Witney Carson,<\/strong> during the November 25 finale.<\/p>\n

Berrios did not attend the finale but shared his support for Earle at the time via a video message.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,\u201d Berrios said in a prerecorded video. \u201cGood luck. Have fun, babe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Berrios and Earle split<\/a> after two years of dating, multiple sources confirmed exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em> on December 6.<\/p>\n

\u201cMajority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate,\u201d one insider told Us<\/em>. \u201cThey mutually agreed on the split.\u201d<\/p>\n

After being linked to Berrios in May 2023, Earle initially denied they were dating. She ultimately confirmed her relationship with the athlete several months later in November 2023.<\/p>\n

A year later, Earle shared a gushing tribute to Berrios to mark 12 months together.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the person who taught me to love wholeheartedly .. happy 1 year \u2763\ufe0f You have become so much more than my best friend and partner,\u201d she wrote via Instagram for their November 2024 anniversary. \u201cI didn\u2019t know I was capable of this type of love and I feel like I have truly found my other half! I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Earle spoke about her relationship with Berrios, divulging they were planning a future together.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe always talk about our future,\u201d she told Us<\/em> in February. \u201cRight now, we\u2019re so focused on our careers that we live in the moment and don\u2019t rush into anything. I think that\u2019s the cool thing about being with Braxton, [he] is not scared of any type of future.\u201d<\/p>\n
