Hilary Swank<\/strong><\/a> has allegedly apologized after a tense encounter with a woman she thought was taking her photo at LAX airport in Los Angeles.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt baggage claim, I was walking next to Hilary Swank,\u201d Jada Bafus<\/strong> told The Daily Mail <\/i>on Wednesday, December 10, per Page Six<\/i><\/span><\/a>. \u201cAnd I did a double take on her because it\u2019s Hilary Swank and I am a fan of her movies and stuff.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Bafus had been at the airport with her sons Mason, 7, and Jack, 4, whom she was taking to Disneyland on a Make-a-Wish vacation. The boys have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder that causes progressive loss of muscle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bafus said she took out her phone <\/span>\u201cbecause I got distracted\u201d while trying to find her kids and husband.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI just looked, like, you know, I was trying to call my husband,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI wasn\u2019t taking a picture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Page Six<\/em>, Bafus had previously described the alleged encounter via a recent Instagram post, quoting Swank, 51, as saying, \u201cYou got what you needed? Get what you came for? Enjoy that picture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMa\u2019am \u2026 I wasn\u2019t trying a picture of you,\u201d Bafus wrote, according to the outlet. \u201cI was trying to find my 2 terminally ill boys at baggage claim. But thanks for poking at a stressed mom on her kid\u2019s Make-a-Wish trip. Iconic timing because she lived here in Spokane long ago!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding an upside-down smiley face emoji, Bafus added: \u201cSo random!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In her interview with The Daily Mail<\/i>, Bafus said that Swank \u201c<\/span>hurt my feelings because I was starting my son\u2019s Make-A-Wish trip, which she wouldn\u2019t have known, but just one of those situations where it was one of my first encounters with a celebrity so I thought it was a little comical.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, however, that <\/span>the two-time Oscar winner reached out directly to apologize to her via Instagram and explained that she had not wanted her 2-year-old twins, Aya and Ohm, being photographed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI did not expect Hilary Swank to directly talk to me,\u201d Bafus said. \u201cIt was just, like, a \u2018Woah.\u2019 I was taken aback.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Bafus\u2019 husband, Bryan<\/strong>, called the interaction \u201cunexpected\u201d and wondered why Swank would \u201csnap back at anybody when you\u2019re in that profession\u201d but noted that they\u2019re \u201cnot upset\u201d at her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
