Awkward! Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> revealed that her father and grandpa had a distinctly different reaction to Euphoria<\/em><\/a> than her mother and grandma.<\/p>\n \u201cMy mom visited me on set at the time, so she knew the story and I talked to her a lot about it \u2014 my dad didn\u2019t,\u201d Sweeney, 25, said in a preview clip Sunday Today With Willie Geist<\/em><\/a>, which will debut on CBS Sunday, June 4. \u201cYeah, I didn\u2019t prepare my dad. At all.\u201d<\/p>\n The Washington native has starred on Euphoria<\/em> as popular girl Cassie Howard<\/a> since 2019, and she has several nude scenes<\/a> in the HBO drama.<\/p>\n Sweeney explained, \u201cI mean, how do you bring it up in conversation? And also, when I talk to my dad, it\u2019s usually not about work. We talk, like, father-daughter conversations. He decided he was going to watch it, without telling me, with his parents.\u201d<\/p>\n As the men realized how sexual the role was, they walked out. Her grandmother, however, kept watching.<\/p>\n \u201cMy dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked out,\u201d Sweeney recalled. \u201cBut my grandma is a big supporter of mine. She\u2019s a big fan of mine. Actually I bring her, usually, all over the world to my different sets and I make her an extra.\u201d<\/p>\n The Reality<\/em> star previously opened up about her supportive grandma and grandpa during a March 2022 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres<\/em> show. \u201cThey said I have \u2018the best tits in Hollywood,’\u201d Sweeney quipped<\/a> at the time while her grandmother, who was in the audience, gave a thumbs up.<\/p>\n While the Laneige ambassador<\/a> is willing to film nude scenes when necessary, she hopes that she can change the judgements surrounding actresses and nudity.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think as many people took me seriously in Euphoria because I took my shirt off,\u201d Sweeney told Cosmopolitan<\/em><\/a> in February 2022. \u201cWhen I saw The Voyeurs for the first time, I wondered if I\u2019d done too much. I researched celebrities who have done nude scenes, trying to make myself feel better.\u201d<\/p>\n
