The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/i><\/a><\/span> star Dakota Mortensen<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is addressing his behavior at the season 3 reunion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, the reunion thing was a s*** show. I think more whenever I see videos circulating of me claiming that I\u2019m high or I relapsed,\u201d Dakota, 32, shared via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Tuesday, December 9. \u201cThere\u2019s very few things that I feel proud of when it comes to myself, and I think one of those is being Ever\u2019s dad and my recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

As part of Hulu\u2019s reality show, cameras have documented Dakota\u2019s up-and-down relationship with Taylor Frankie Paul as they navigate raising their 20-month-old son following their 2024 split<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the season 3 reunion show, which premiered on Hulu December 4, Dakota was put in the hot seat when Taylor, 31, and her parents confronted him over an alleged inappropriate relationship with a family friend.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, I am proud of myself because I have stayed sober through some of the most hardest s*** I\u2019ve ever been through in my entire life. Even in that situation or that setting,\u201d he explained on Tuesday. \u201cThat is why it\u2019s so hard on me. I am actually facing a lot of those situations and settings sober for the first time ever in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dakota acknowledged some of his critics online while explaining some of his recent behavior.<\/p>\n

\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cMy body is in full fight or flight mode the entire time,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve been sober this whole time and apparently, to everybody else in the world, I\u2019m not, and honestly, it hurts.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his latest video, the real estate agent also addressed some of the rumors spreading online about his appearance on the season 3 reunion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He denied having the power to remove the ladies from the stage when he filmed. Dakota also said he had no idea Taylor\u2019s parents were going to be in attendance to film a segment with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s called \u2018blindside, blindside, blindside, blindside.\u2019 I didn\u2019t even want that,\u201d he said on Tuesday. \u201cI didn\u2019t even want to go. I also had a cease and desist so when you see me stuttering trying to explain stuff, my bad. I\u2019ve never had one of those in my life. I\u2019m petrified. I don\u2019t know s***. I\u2019m sitting here, scared to death to say anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear who sent Dakota the cease and desist and for what reason.<\/p>\n

Soon after sharing his video online, Dakota received some support from the DadTok community.<\/p>\n

\u201cProud of you brother!\u201d Zac Affleck<\/strong> wrote in the comments section. \u201cNobody realizes how hard this s*** is to navigate, how unnatural it is and apparently these trolls on social media have never made a mistake in their life \ud83d\ude02\ud83e\udd37\u200d\u2642\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chase McWhorter<\/strong> added, \u201cYou\u2019ve overcame one of the hardest things possible. Glad you\u2019re proud of that, and appreciate how you\u2019ve been with me and my struggles w substances. You the man.\u201d<\/p>\n
