While there were many TikTok trends that encapsulated the past 365 days (hello, group 7!<\/a>), the Coldplay Kiss Cam scandal grabbed the attention of social media users and celebrities alike.<\/p>\n In case you forgot, a jumbotron showed former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron<\/strong> and employee Kristin Cabot<\/strong> cozying up to each other at a Coldplay concert in July. The moment has since been reenacted by celebrities, including Sofia Richie Grainge<\/strong> and husband Elliot Grainge<\/strong>, who poked fun at the saga<\/a>. \u201cStadiums \u2026 the land of privacy,\u201d Richie Grainge quipped in the TikTok caption.<\/p>\n Later in the year, a remix of 4 Non Blondes\u2019 \u201cWhat\u2019s Up?\u201d and Nicki Minaj<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cBeez in the Trap\u201d had TikTok in a chokehold, with users sharing videos back-to-back as they lip-synched the two songs. Before hosting Saturday Night Live i<\/em>n October, Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong> tried her hand at the trend with cast member Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> and amassed more than 20 million views on the show\u2019s TikTok account.<\/p>\n Scroll down to remember the biggest TikTok trends of 2025:\n<\/p>\n Sophia James<\/strong> took over the internet in fall 2025 when she shared a series of videos via TikTok, labeling the clips \u2014 and fans \u2014 into groups. It wasn\u2019t until her seventh and final video that James went viral.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you are watching this video, you are in group 7,\u201d James said in the clip. \u201cI have posted seven videos tonight and this is the seventh one. Just a little science experiment to see what kind of video gets the most reach. I don\u2019t know what that says about you, but you\u2019re in group 7!\u201d<\/p>\n The video went on to receive more than 85 million views, with social media users and celebrities chiming in on their self-described \u201celite\u201d group. \u201cA light workout for someone in group 7,\u201d Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik<\/strong> wrote via TikTok, alongside a video of him doing the pommel horse.<\/p>\n Role Model<\/strong> began bringing surprise guests (think: Jake Shane<\/strong> and Hilary Duff<\/strong>) on stage as his \u201cSally\u201d while performing the hit track \u201cSally, When the Wine Runs Out,\u201d which, of course, led TikTok users to want in on the fun. \u201cMe practicing how I\u2019d be Sally if I was chosen,\u201d radio host Josh \u201cBru\u201d Brubaker<\/strong> wrote over a TikTok<\/a> video, where he began to dance as Role Model stood beside him.<\/p>\n The princess treatment<\/a>, which was derived from influencer Courtney Palmer<\/strong>, is all about letting husbands lead. And what exactly does that look like? Letting your husband open doors, speak to hostesses at restaurants and do all the ordering.<\/p>\n \u201cAnything really, you\u2019re just waiting for your husband to do it,\u201d Palmer explained in a June TikTok. \u201cIt\u2019s not because you can\u2019t. It\u2019s not because you\u2019re not able to. It\u2019s not because you\u2019re better than anybody. It\u2019s just the fun part of being that princess, of being that feminine wife and letting your husband take care of you.\u201d<\/p>\n More than one decade after Minaj\u2019s challenge originally debuted in her \u201cHigh School\u201d music video, the trend took over social media again, with influencers and celebrities alike attempting to balance on one foot in tall stiletto heels.<\/p>\n In August, Dancing With the Stars<\/em> pro Witney Carson<\/strong> expertly balanced on her round Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in a pair of black booties, while The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> star Mikayla Matthews<\/strong> blindfolded herself as she rocked stiletto heels on a step stool while cradling her newborn. Minaj herself joined in on the fun, nailing the pose in a pair of gold heels while balancing on a table.<\/p>\n It wouldn\u2019t be a season of DWTS<\/em> without at least one dance taking over the internet. Last year, it was Carson and Danny Amendola\u2019s impressive leg lift \u2014 and this year, it was Dylan Efron<\/strong> holding Daniella Karagach<\/strong> horizontal as she pretended to walk during their Argentine tango. Set to Bill Withers\u2019 \u201cAin\u2019t No Sunshine,\u201d the trend was reenacted by many users and celebrities \u2014 including Karagach\u2019s husband, Pasha Pashkov<\/strong>, and their daughter, Nikita.<\/p>\n \u201cMaking my dad attempt Dylan & mama\u2019s air walk lift,\u201d Pashkov wrote over an Instagram<\/a> clip of himself and Nikita trying out the dance, captioning the video, \u201cTiny dancer.\u201d<\/p>\n While Noah Kahan<\/strong> and Hozier<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cNorthern Attitude\u201d debuted in 2022, it wasn\u2019t until 2025 that fans began appreciating the so-called \u201cHozier\u2019s Yell\u201d \u2014 a snippet of the track where Hozier lets out a scream. Creators began pairing the audio with core memories from their lives with the caption, \u201cA moment that felt like Hozier\u2019s yell.\u201d The trend made it to the DWTS<\/em> ballroom, where comedian Andy Richter<\/strong> grabbed the camera during his foxtrot with Emma Slater<\/strong> and had his Hozier moment.<\/p>\n It all began when Byron and Cabot were shown on the kiss cam, leading Byron to quickly drop his arms from Cabot\u2019s waist and duck away from the cameras.<\/p>\n \u201cWhoa, look at these two. Alright, come on. You\u2019re OK. Oh, what? Either they\u2019re having an affair, or they\u2019re very shy. I\u2019m not quite sure what to do.
