I\u2019m really excited though,\u201d he told the New York Post. \u201cI\u2019m excited for Kevin Williamson to take the helm and to see what the mastermind of it all comes up with. I have no clue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then went on to reveal Sam&#8217;s fate in the original Scream 7 before being fired. <span class=\"lj-spoiler\"><span class=\"lj-spoiler-head\"><span class=\"lj-spoiler-leftbracket\">[<\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com\/javascript:void(0)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" width=\"18\" height=\"12\" class=\"flaticon flaticon--eye lj-spoiler-icon\" style=\"display: none; fill: currentColor\"><use xlink:href=\"#flaticon--eye\"\/><\/svg>Spoiler (click to open)<\/a><\/b><span class=\"lj-spoiler-rightbracket\">]<\/span><\/span><span class=\"lj-spoiler-body\"><b>She was seemingly going to be Ghostface in 7.<\/b> \u201cI used to know because part of coming back for five and six was being a part of seven. It was a three-picture arc for Billy Loomis, or the imagination of Billy Loomis in Melissa Barrera\u2018s character\u2019s head. But when all that went down with her, obviously you lose her and you lose what\u2019s in her head.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>He went further into detail when talking to <i>Entertainment Weekly<\/i>: &#8220;When we talked about coming back for 5, it was a three-picture arc for Billy Loomis to slowly turn his daughter into the killer. Obviously, those things didn&#8217;t pan out, given certain things that happened.
