Jessica Simpson<\/strong><\/a> is officially in full holiday mode \u2014 and this year, she\u2019s letting fans in on the family moments that matter most.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWith You\u201d singer, 45, shared a rare new photo of her and estranged husband Eric Johnson<\/strong>\u2019s three kids \u2014 Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6 \u2014 as they helped her kick off December in the most festive way possible. The siblings posed in front of twinkling Christmas d\u00e9cor for what Jessica described as a moment that captures everything she loves about the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristmas time is here!\u201d she captioned the Dec. 4 Instagram post<\/a>. \u201cWhat the month of December brings to my kiddos has always been about the genuine feelings of love, excitement, hope, happiness, grace and pure JOY!\u201d She added a sweet message to fans: \u201cWishin\u2019 you and yours all the many blessings this month has to offer y\u2019all\u2019s hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the photo, Max and Ace rest their arms on little Birdie\u2019s head \u2014 a very sibling move \u2014 while Birdie beams up at the camera. It\u2019s a rare glimpse of the Simpson-Johnson crew all together as they settle into the holiday spirit.<\/p>\n

The post comes just a week after Jessica opened up about how her family handled Thanksgiving following her split from Eric, whom she separated from in January after nearly 10 years of marriage. Despite the breakup, Jessica made it clear that holiday traditions \u2014 and family unity \u2014 still come first.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s my kids\u2019 father,\u201d she told TMZ on Nov. 28, confirming Eric joined them at her mother Tina\u2019s house for the holiday. \u201cFamily first.\u201d She added, \u201cNo matter what, your kid is half the other person. Always have respect in what you say around [your kids] so they can always have a good perspective on it.\u201d For Jessica, \u201cUnconditional love is important.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former couple has stayed true to that message. Back in September, Jessica and Eric even reunited to support her sister Ashlee Simpson during her Las Vegas residency. \u201cWe are all a big, happy family, so it\u2019s important for all of us,\u201d Jessica told E! News at the time. \u201cWe wouldn\u2019t have missed Ashlee, are you kidding me? It was such a moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

And if there\u2019s one thing the Simpson-Johnson kids have inherited from their mom, it\u2019s her bold personality \u2014 especially Birdie, who recently dressed up as Jessica for spirit week at school. In October, Jessica proudly shared photos of her youngest wearing denim cutoffs, a high ponytail, and a T-shirt featuring her mom\u2019s face. \u201cToday is dress as your favorite artist for spirit week at school and Bird wanted to dress up as meeeeee,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
