Jesse Plemons<\/a>, and she gives “so much more” to her roles since become a mother. <\/p>\nSpeaking at an In Conversation event at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, she is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying: “I think anybody who has experienced having children, everything changes. <\/p>\n
“For me, it gave me so much more fearlessness in my acting, which is such a gift that they gave me.<\/p>\n
“Also, they gave me, this isn’t the most important thing, but now when I do have the time to work and want to work, I can give it so much more. <\/p>\n
\n“I feel like that’s with any career and growing up. <\/p>\n
\n“I mean, with this industry, it can really, I think, mess with people’s minds more in a negative way.”<\/p>\n
\nKirsten counts herself lucky that she hasn’t been caught up in “frivolous parts” of the movie industry, and she praised her “wonderful husband” for supporting her. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “I’ve been very lucky that I have surrounded myself with good people, and I have a wonderful husband, and people that don’t get caught up in the frivolous parts of this industry. So that’s helped.<\/p>\n
\n“Also, I think the truer you stay to yourself and the less you worry about everybody else, then the more the opportunities come, and the right ones come to you.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Roofman star also confessed she has experienced burnout in the past, but she now only accepts acting roles if they “really mean something” to her. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I have been burnt out before, and I haven’t sustained that energy of being able to have a work-life balance. <\/p>\n
\n“I also went to school, and I’d make movies, and I’d go back and forth. <\/p>\n
\n“But now, I am in a position right now where I can wait, wait till I want to work.<\/p>\n
\n“I have two kids. I’ve been enjoying just being a mum and then just waiting for projects that really mean something to me.”<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this year, Jesse admitted he “got lucky” when he met Kirsten on the set of FX drama Fargo. <\/p>\n
\nDuring an interview with Andy Cohen for SiriusXM\u2019s Radio Andy, he said: “Immediately we just hit it off in a creative sense and felt like we could trust each other. <\/p>\n
\n“I knew that we were gonna be playing husband and wife and spending a lot of time together. And, you know, you never know if it\u2019s something you\u2019re going to have to kind of work for. And then sometimes you get lucky.”<\/p>\n
