The 33-year-old pop star recently confirmed her engagement to the musician – revealing he proposed during a trip to Japan – and she’s now opened up about her ring and suggested Maxx might have snapped up a bargain during the annual holiday sales.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host suggested Maxx should have waited until Christmas to pop the question, telling the singer: “Your fiance, I wonder if he realizes … if he waited like, three weeks he wouldn\u2019t have to come up with a Christmas gift.”<\/p>\n
The Flowers star then joked: “This was [a] Black Friday deal, baby.”<\/p>\n
She then added: “It wasn\u2019t but he was smart that way. It might have been. I\u2019m not sure.”<\/p>\n
\nDuring the show, Miley went on to reveal she isn’t looking forward to the holidays because she has a big issue with Christmas as she hates paper.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “Well, Christmas, I\u2019m known as a little bit of a grinch because I have a qualm with Christmas. I hate paper …<\/p>\n
\n“Like, looking at that [paper on your desk] makes me want to vomit …<\/p>\n
\n“The real problem is people have dry hands and they touch paper and then it\u2019s Christmas and it\u2019s cold and everyone\u2019s hands are dry and they\u2019re all touching paper. When someone sends me a lovely letter, I don\u2019t even open it.”<\/p>\n
\nShe went on to joke: “That\u2019s why I got engaged. I make my fianc\u00e9 open all the packages outside.”<\/p>\n
\nMiley – who was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth – also clarified she will be fine with signing her next wedding certificate because they tend to be drawn up on “waxed” paper which she is ok with.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “This is the thing is waxed paper, like anything that\u2019s got like a smooth surface, that\u2019s better and from the last marriage, I think I remember that the paper is waxed.”<\/p>\n
\nMiley added of her paper aversion: “I love text message. No paper. Email, no paper. Phone call, no paper. It\u2019s the … eh, I can\u2019t even talk about it …<\/p>\n
\n“It\u2019s getting worse so there does need to be some sort of intervention and I am going to look into some sort of EMDR, being hypnotized about it because it\u2019s affecting my everyday life.”<\/p>\n
