Dylan Efron<\/strong><\/a> went through a physical transformation during his time on Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> season 34.<\/p>\n \u201cProbably TMI but I\u2019m fascinated with this stuff,\u201d Efron, 33, wrote via his Instagram Stories as he shared a video of himself stepping on a scale on Tuesday, December 2. \u201cI weighed around 175-178 lbs. (80kg-ish) at the start of DWTS<\/em>. By week 3, I went down to 170, they had to take in my waist on my pants \u2026 a lot of cardio and wasn\u2019t eating.\u201d<\/p>\n Efron revealed that a change in his diet helped him gain the weight back \u2014 and then some.<\/p>\n \u201cBy the end of the show, my pant size was back to normal and I felt stronger. I gained about 15-20 Ibs during the season, biggest thing I changed was eating more protein \u2026 protein shake every night and just more meat,\u201d he explained, adding that he feels \u201cso much stronger than before.\u201d<\/p>\n Efron also shared that his current weight is 189 lbs.<\/p>\n Efron and dance partner Daniella Karagach<\/strong> made it all the way to the DWTS season 34 finale on November 25. The pair performed three dances \u2014 an unlearned dance selected and coached by the judges, an instant dance and a freestyle \u2014 in the hopes of gaining America\u2019s votes. Efron and Karagach, 32, ultimately came in fourth place, with Robert Irwin<\/strong> and partner Witney Carson<\/strong> taking home the coveted mirrorball trophy. (Alix Earle<\/strong> and Val Chmerkovsky<\/strong> came in second place, while Jordan Chiles<\/strong> and Ezra Sosa<\/strong> came in third.
