JoJo Siwa<\/strong> is opening up about some difficult health challenges she faced over the holiday weekend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The dancer and social media star shared that up until about an hour before her performance at Mall of America on November 28, she was in the hospital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In a 7 minute long TikTok, Siwa gave her fans a full rundown of the situation that unfolded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIf you follow along closely with my life, then you know yesterday was a bit hectic,\u201d Siwa said in the November 29 TikTok.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She then went on to explain in <\/span>the video<\/span><\/a> that for several days prior to the performance, she was experiencing what she thought were just bad stomach or period cramps that would come and go when walking and dancing.<\/span><\/p>\n The morning before the <\/span>Mall of America performance<\/span><\/a>, Siwa\u2019s pain began to get worse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She decided to try to take a nap to recover, but couldn\u2019t fall asleep due to the pain. She then decided to take a bath instead, which she said made the pain \u201ca hundred times worse.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Siwa quickly got out of the bath and called her mom, who came up to her room and called 911, before escorting her to the hospital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe ultrasound revealed, long story short, that one of my ovaries had a cyst on it that burst and was bleeding into my stomach,\u201d she said. \u201cIt should resolve itself, it should stop on its own, I gotta go get it looked at in a week.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Because there was nothing the hospital could do other than give her some pain medication, Siwa was luckily able to return to Mall of America in time for <\/span>her performance<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s basically just excruciating pain, but the good news is we know what it is, and I think that brought a lot of peace of mind to me,\u201d she continued in the video. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cNow I know the pain, I know what the pain is, and so I know, just take a second and it will settle, it will calm down. But any time it moves, even when I\u2019m asleep and I roll over, it wakes me up because it hurts and cramps so bad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
