\t\t<\/p>\n Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd<\/strong><\/a> and Miriam Margolyes<\/strong><\/a> made for a surprisingly delightful pairing on a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n The 49-year-old Swedish actor was asked to share an anecdote about the first time he\u2019d met Miriam<\/strong> years earlier, when she was renting out a room in her Santa Monica condo.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Harry Potter<\/strong><\/a><\/em> alum had no memory of the encounter.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I clearly made a strong impression on her,\u201d Alexander<\/strong> joked.<\/p>\n They then had a playful back-and-forth about why he didn\u2019t end up taking the room, with Miriam<\/strong> wondering if it was dirty or too expensive. The Pillion<\/strong><\/a><\/em> actor said that wasn\u2019t the issue. Instead, it was that he thought there was some brewing sexual tension between them and worried things would get messy.<\/p>\n Miriam<\/strong> immediately responded, \u201cDarling, I\u2019m 84 and gay! I\u2019ve been with my partner for 58 years!\u201d<\/p>\n The entire couch\u2014which also included Nicola Coughlan<\/strong><\/a> and Glenn Close<\/strong><\/a>\u2014burst into laughter along with Graham<\/strong> and the audience.<\/p>\n \u201cAgain, I probably misread the situation,\u201d Alexander<\/strong> responded.<\/p>\n A cheeky Miriam<\/strong> scoffed and said, \u201cOh, you\u2019re talking out of your bottom!\u201d<\/p>\n Graham<\/strong> then cut in to ask Nicola<\/strong> if she<\/em> had ever worked with (or almost lived with) Miriam<\/strong>, and she happily jumped into the joke, saying, \u201cI\u2019m your daughter!\u201d<\/p>\n Alexander<\/strong> chimed in with a perfectly timed, \u201cAnd I\u2019m your father,\u201d to Nicola<\/strong>. The moment ended with both the True Blood<\/em> alum and the Bridgerton<\/em> star giving a bemused Miriam<\/em> a hug. A priceless moment all around.<\/p>\n \n
